Well Stevie has done it again..made me fall for a dirty talking, manwhore of a Rock Star and I'm not even sorry! lol I loved reading Jag and couldn't wait for Rush and it did not disappoint!! Rush is not dark like Jag but he definitely had his own issues to deal with...the main one being Jules, an employee of their Management, who he is NOT allowed to go near due to his contract!
Rush is the typical manwhore rock star, sleeps with all the fans, loses himself in sex because he is living the life he is expected to but is filling a gap for what or who he really wants. He has liked Jules for the last six years and after finally one night together he realises the strong feelings he has for her. Only problem being, Jules finds him disgusting and doesn't want to lose her job so does her best to ignore him and her feelings for him.
I loved this book, had me hooked apart from stupid RL getting in the way! lol It was great having more of the other band mates in it and it also showed how Jag's problem affected Rush and how him and Jules tried to help him and deal with his addiction.
This is by no means a fairy tale read, it is real with lots of emotions, lots of sex and lots of swearing! There are many bumps in the road but it does show a softer side to Rush too! I loved the whole book!! Oh and the extra scene at the end... HOT HOT HOT!!!
Another brilliant book from Stevie and I can't wait for the next!!

What a rush....Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 January 2015
Thankyou again Stevie for a real real book. Most books gloss over addictions, in this case drugs and maybe the sex. I'm glad Rush and Jules got to be but would like to string up James and give him some punches myself...what a douche!!! I absolutely love this book and cannot wait for Roxy. I'm not one to write long drawn out reviews that have too many spoilers included. Just know that this book is really really good and you should read it then make your own mind up because as far as I'm concerned it's out there as a bloody great read x
2.5 StarsReviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 April 2015
The first 50% was a constant repetition of Rush's sexcapades with other women which just dragged. I kept reading, waiting for the story to really start ie Rush and Jules. As it follows the same timeline as Jag there is some repetition from Jag's book. Then they finally get together only for Jules to have an apparent personality change about 72% Ugh! Finally gave up at 78%. We know what the ending is going to be - I just didn't enjoy how we got there and lost interest. I won't be reading any more books in this series.
LOOVVED THIS STORY!Reviewed in Canada on 18 March 2016
Rockers....gotta love them! I love that these books are written from the male POV. It makes them so much raunchier! Well in Book 1 we met Jag and as we suffered with him through his addiction and finally his HEA, grew to know and love him. This story about Rush does the same for him. He has wanted love his whole life but it seems to always elude him. He covers his desires by partially doing drugs and alcohol. But his biggest "addiction" is sex. Anywhere, anytime, anyone. This does not bode well for his attraction to Jules, their Assistant Manager. Rush has wanted her since they met 6 years ago. But rules are rules and the band's contract prohibits a relationship between them. Twice they have broken that rule but Rush has had enough and will pursue Jules until she gives in. Unfortunately, it isn't that easy!
Es passtReviewed in Germany on 12 November 2017
A Romance Junkie
I recommend this book highlyReviewed in the United States on 10 August 2020
Loved Rush, who wouldn’t he’s gorgeous and sexy a rockstar. The problem is that he’s been in love with Jules for seven long years, she’s his manager. They had sex once and she’s never let him near her again. So he goes ahead and sleeps with groupies, lots and lots of groupies. You know like the song goes- if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with. So he does, which creates a major scare in his life. I found Jules to be a little cold and not very loving especially in a time where he was facing a major crisis. So, there are pages and pages of internal dialogue which I usually hate but in this book it works and the dialogue is beyond funny sometimes. This is a rock band and the band has been together since high school yet they don’t really talk much to each other. There are lots of drugs all the time but that’s not the problem for Rush, he’s just lonely. I recommend this book highly. But I recommend you read them in order.
