There are a lot of books out there for the start-up business, but not many that deal with the next phase. This book takes a refreshing, light look at aspects to consider when you're out of that scary beginning stage and what to do next. Written in a friendly and accessibly style and with plenty of excellent advice, I would recommend this book as a great place to start thinking about how to become a successful and established business.
5.0 out of 5 starsAn informative and entertaining book on running a small business

The first half of the book covers some useful topics such as how to choose and manage your customers and how, and in what, you should invest to help your business whilst the latter half covers some aspects of using social media in a small business. There is plenty of useful information here not only for businesses which are already up and running but also much for new businesses as well. The author's style is very friendly and she includes many examples from her own personal experiences.
The book is presented in the form of a series of questions to which the author provides comprehensive answers. Example questions include what is the best mix of customers to have or 10 reasons to write a blog (or not!) as well as some detailed tutorials on using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for enhancing the online presence of your business.
