Product Description

Twenty-year-old Daniel Serban loses his dancing job and threats of being outed to his family force him to flee Limerick, Ireland. Daniel fears his father and the other gypsy men will force him to marry his betrothed, or bring bodily harm to him for being gay.

As chance would have it, he ends up in Cleary’s Pub, a gay leather bar in Galway where he meets the grouchy, ginger-bear Ronan O’Riley. Daniel had no idea how much meeting the Dom would transform his life.

Ronan O’Riley has been unable to move on since the death of his sub a year ago, that is until a troubled gypsy boy steps into Cleary’s. Ronan’s lonely existence is about to change.

Can Ronan convince Daniel to trust him or will Daniel’s fears of his past ruin any chance of a relationship? Unexpected heated attraction in the barn ignites their relationship to move forward. Though the two men have many of the same dreams, Daniel’s secrets and Ronan’s need to gain Daniel’s trust are just a few of the many challenges they must overcome if they are to be together.

Fantastic, I absolutely LOVED this book. The characters where gorgeous together. Ronan fell for Daniel as soon as he saw him. But Daniel is running for him past that may bring more heartache to him. Ronan felt empty before Daniel stepped in the door. Can they be together, safe from danger that haunts them. I highly recommend this book for your libraries. 10/10 Stars. This is book one of this series I cant wait to read more.

There is a lot more to this story than what your first impressions might lead you to think.
When you allow yourself to enter the world that Brina Brady has masterfully created with strong visual imagery and emotional connections between the characters, the world takes on different dimensions and meanings.
You become aware that Daniel is fighting to gain control of his own life while breaking free of the rigid, and at times violent, regime which has been his existence with his Gypsy community. His struggles are intensified by his need to be escape before the others in his tight-knit community discovery his secret. And then there’s Ronan—strong and enigmatic, while below the surface he is fighting his own battle over his need to control everything and everyone around him.
Somewhere in the middle of their struggles they must find a middle ground—a place where Daniel is comfortable giving up his control in deference to Ronan’s judgement, and Ronan relaxes some of his strict rules in order to give Daniel the chance to fly in their new relationship.
There are many reasons for me to recommend this book, the first in Brina’s new series, not the least of which is the carefully considered and researched approach to the material, but it also give the open-minded reader the opportunity to lose themselves in a well-crafted story.
Congratulations on another captivating story, Brina!

The runaway gypsy boy
Brina Brady
5🌟
Daniel is gay but the only thing wrong with that is he's a Gypsy so he has to keep that under wraps from his violent dad....
He secretly works in a stripper club to earn enough money to get himself away from his abusive father and the promised marriage to a girl he can't love which he does until the day someone lets he's dad know so he has to run away.
He finds himself in a bar with loads of men dressed in leather one in particular catches his eye.
Ronan is a bearded red haired Dom and takes an instant interest in Daniel soon has he sets eyes in him too and wants to claim him as his new sub it's been awhile since losing his long term sub and feels the attraction is enough to get him back in the game again.
I loved these characters and the author got me hooked straight away with how she portrayed the characters in the book I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars GYPSYBOY ON THE RUN... 25 June 2016
By Torhild B. - Published on Amazon.com

The story that makes you enter a rollercoaster on more levels than
just what you are used to get from mrs. Brina Brady.
It is a boook that contains a lot of issues where BDSM does not play
the first violine directly. There is a dash of it yes, so you wont be
disappointed.
We meet the young gypsyboy Daniel who is 21 years old, working as a house
painter in the day and a pole dancer at night. Why does he do this you ask?
You will learn that Daniel has some issues that makes him run from his family.
In the beginning you think he is a strong willed guy. Oh think you can handle
his bratty, sassy side as well? Good because when Daniel meets Ronan O'Riley,
the Dom who siffered from losing his lover a year ago, you will learn that
Daniel has to learn a lot. One of the things he has to learn is to trust others.
On the road to reach that goal he has to meet his inner turnoil and fears and
insecurity.
Ronan O'Riley is a Dom who is in a unhappy place. He is also looking for a new
sub, after his former sub for ten years died a year ago. Ronan owns his own ranch
and I am not going to tell you more about what happens there.
We do also meet some other characters too. They are all there for a purpose
of giving life to this story. They are well developed, and a few of them will
give you a reason to smile.
So are you going to join all of us who already have read this one? Good.

5.0 out of 5 stars This story left me wanting more 6 July 2016

I have to admit the title and premise of the story attracted me. I loved the idea of a young Gypsy man as the main character. Another reason I wanted to read this book is that I knew it was a daring choice for this author. Many people dislike people like Daniel and there is much racism, hatred, and misinformation for people like him. One thing that I found important to note even though there are some racist people in this story the book itself is not, In fact Ronan does some evolving himself as he progresses through the story. This book offers a moment to see the opportunity of love, compassion, and understanding unfold in a beautifully told story.

Daniel’s circumstances force him to leave his family and he decides the kind of life that he wants and discovers what he is willing to settle for. Ronan and Daniel meet in Cleary’s Pub and providence brings them together again later. Both men face the ghosts of their past and learn to trust again. I love the chemistry between Ronan and Daniel. The other characters are well rounded, and add so much to the story.

This book took me on a beautiful journey and gave me a bit of insight into some fascinating people. It is a great love story and shows the length that a man is willing to go to in the name of love and how love can grow when given the chance. It is a story of love, courage, strength, character, and integrity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Running Toward Love 4 July 2016
By Lori Horne - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
An almost 21-year-old boy named Daniel Serban gets fired from his job as a pole dancer because of whom he is related to. His first impulse is to run away, turning his back on his family, including an abusive father, his friends, his clan and everything he’s always known. Burying secrets deep within, Daniel runs away in order to find his place in the world, to be who he wants to be, to start a new life and break away from promises he never made. The unexpected occurs when he encounters Fate, a man named Ronan O’Riley.

This fast-paced story is filled with twists and turns, with a roller coaster of emotions and intrigue. Underneath it all is a burning love story between Daniel and Ronan. Is Daniel the sub that Ronan has found at last to fill his loneliness with love? Is Ronan the safe harbor that Daniel needs in his life?

It was difficult to put this story down. One moment I’m reveling in the discovery of new love and the next I fear for someone’s life. It’s a story of coming to terms with the past, escaping the horrors of so-called tradition and learning how to trust someone in every way in order to solidify a love that will last forever.

This is a wonderful journey and I am waiting anxiously for the next chapter. Brina Brady is brilliant in weaving us into this world with her storytelling mastery. Bravo Brina! Five loving stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great start to another amazing book series by Brina Brady. 16 June 2016

This is the first book by Brina Brady that I've read that hasn't been one of her other series, so I was really excited to see what she came up with. I worried I wouldn't be able to bond with the new characters, but Brina does such a good job of letting you get to know her characters that you care about them pretty much from the start. Daniel can't do what his gypsy family asks of him, to marry his betrothed, because he can't lie about who he is. Daniel likes men and the thought of being sentenced to marrying someone he can't care for in the way she will need, is not an option. By chance, Daniel meets Ronan, a man who has shut his heart down after losing his beloved sub. No one has lit the fire in his heart since, that is, until he meets Daniel. Daniel needs to learn a lot about being a sub, but is willing to learn so he can be with Ronan. They face a lot of challenges together, but you will have to read it to find out what happens. Very highly recommended, can't wait for book 2!
