Product Description

"Passion, pleasure, and princely responsibilities make this sexy fairy tale a real page turner." —Audrey Carlan, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Calendar Girl

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka “His Royal Hotness,” is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant―hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn’t bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

Dating a prince isn’t what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.
There’s a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they’ve traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces and haven’t chopped anyone’s head off lately―the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.

But to Olivia―Nicholas is worth it.

Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

I love Emma and her books. From the incredible Tangled series to the Legal briefs series, she can do now wrong. She is one of the feew authors that has totally mastered the Male POV.
Her writing is always fresh, funny and addicting. Royally Screwed is book one in the Royally series. And I finished it in one day. Laughed out loud, cried, got hot and bothered and laughed some more. Emma Chase has given readers yet another swoony, romantic, charming, and ridiculously sexy leading man to enjoy. Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco - is next in line for the throne.
Nicholas' grandmother, your stereotypical overbearing queen, decides that it's time for him to get married. Her logic is that a glitzy, royal wedding will serve as a distraction for other not-so-noble things going on in the family (aka Nicholas's brother, Henry, and his outlandish behaviour), and hopefully save the monarchy. So, she sends Nicholas off to wrangle in his wild brother, and informs him that he has five months to find a bride or she'll find one for him.
While he's off trying to get things under control, Nicholas meets Olivia, a sassy New York girl who somehow manages to resist his charms. Her aversion only makes her more desirable, and Nicholas sets off on a quest to win the woman. But romance doesn't come easy when you're a royal, and there's always a price of some sort to pay for falling in love.
This book was so much fun to read! I loved the characters that Emma gave us. Nicholas and Olivia were amazing, but the secondary characters were just as fantastic. There was snark and sass and wit and laugh-out-loud moments. Olivia and Nicholas had amazing chemistry. Sparks were flying from their very first interaction and kept flying until they were fanned into an all-out flame.

So this was my first Emma Chase book, and it certainly won't be my last. When I started this book, the first thing I will admit that I thought of was the current Royal family in England. Being Aussie, we hear so much about them, and the similarity of the younger Prince in this being named Henry and being the crazy party prince - exactly matches what we have heard a few years ago about Prince Harry, everyone's favourite party Prince of our Royal Family.

Once I got into the book though, I was able to look past that, and see the characters for who they were. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and connecting with each character. I loved how Olivia just sees Nicholas for who he is, and not who he's famous for being and I definitely loved Henry and the bodyguards and their banter, and hell, even Franny and the Queen were great. I must not forget Ellie or Simon either.

I was keen to see how this would play out, and what Nicholas would do after the realisation of how attached they were to each other. After all, it was just supposed to be a summer fling, right?

There were so many awesome laugh out loud quotes that had me smiling at my kindle like a loon in some parts too. I feel like this book was just really well written with nothing too over the top, and all the right amounts of emotion and angst and happiness.

I certainly will be continuing the series and look forward to seeing what Henry brings in book 2. How have I not read any Emma Chase books until now?! Yikes.

I just finished this book and I can not say enough great things about it. It was amazing. Even though there are other books with royalty falling for the commoner and it is the dream of millions of girls around the world, it was still a fantastic read. I can't decide who is my favourite character because they are all awesome! I do really really love Franny, I just love the way she talks haha

I love, love this book so much this will go to my love-love-love-these-books shelf.

It started as an "I love their no-hold, funny banters" to "she really agreed to that? Unbelievable!" then to "I'm crying! I love this book so much..." then finally to "best book ever!".

I can't get over it when I cried when they fought and then swooned when they got back together.

This right here is the reason I love books! I love to feel. And right here, I felt it alright.

This book is worth your time, the love, the wooing and lord knows a gentleman who just so happens to be naughty need be abd I so real and commoner girl who tells it like it is and isn't fazed by the fact that he's royalty. I swooned, I cheered, I hurt, and I danced when Nicholas chooses love over tradition.
Do yourself a favour, because Emma Chase does not disappoint in this new series. Bravo.
