I must say I'm so glad I bought this book. I haven't been satisfied with my other books lately. I'm a sucka for a good friends to lover's book. Royal was everything in this book. As a breast cancer survivor I can relate to Gem a little when it came to being insecure about men and being in relationships. She was given a little time to live but she conquered that. Even when you beat cancer there's still a fear of it coming back. Her thinking who would love someone while they're sick is a question I've thought of. Royal was very patient with her and still loved his diamond girl (Ryan Leslie's song Diamond Girl was in my head lol) I was single while going through my journey and I still am. I wish I had a Royal with me lol. Even though I'm dating, I get a little anxiety when I tell the guy just wondering how they would react. So far good responses. I too had surgery like Gem and my body is not the same. Will my future mate be okay with my scars too. We shall see. Overall, this was a great weekend read. Who's next Tina?

Well where do you began beside saying another Gem of a story Tina Martin is a joy to read. Gemma and Royal is a story of about a men that has a kind and big heart. Royal is a gem. Royal loves unconditional not knowing what the future might hold for them willing to gamble on the love of a women he didn't know. Which is a wonderful blessing from God. It seem like God made him just for her, to be strong for her when she need ,kind loving when needed,patient .That kind of man is rear and a treasurer to find they started out as friends learning about each other we should have more Royal in real life. Can't wait for the rest of the brothers story Regal I hope is next felicity is just what he needs. On a serious note Cancer is a disease I truly hope we find a cure for it it can destroy lives if we let it, you have to keep fighting the good fight and keep moving forward. This was truly a beautiful love story of strength, kindless and love. Be bless GREAT!!!!!! Book

I just could not get into this book. The main characters were not mature and not believable. Just didn't hold my attention. I bought the series. Wish I could return.
