Product Description

Kentlee Johnson has always been a sweet girl with good intentions and simple dreams.

Pierce "Fury" Duhart is an outlaw by nature, born and bred to ride with the Notorious Devils.

When a chance encounter brings them face to face, Kentlee knows that getting involved with the president of the town's notorious MC is not a wise choice.

But Fury knows what he wants, and Kentlee is the little bit of sugar he craves on the side.

Daring to be bold for just one night, Kentlee surrenders to Fury's advances—but one taste of the rough and rowdy man is all it takes to turn her world upside down.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Story, Terrible Hero 27 March 2016
By sdshop000 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
*some spoilers*

I really wanted to like this one. It has insta-love, a hot alpha MC hero, and an accidental pregnancy.

Unfortunately, I think the author just took the bad boy thing too far. Fury is not always a nice guy, then completely abandons Kentlee. And when he returns? Well, then he immediately condemns her for the job she took to pay the bills when he left and he gets mad at the one guy who helped her. Seriously, Fury's only redeeming quality appears to be that he's good in bed. He does absolutely nothing that's lovable. I guess this potentially makes him more realistic, but it just put me off the whole story.

Also, this is small, but the heroine Kentlee talks about how she doesn't believe in abortion, which is great and totally her choice. However, she, and quite possibly the author as well, seems to believe that the morning after pill is some form of abortion given the way she talks about it. This inaccuracy was small but definitely notable and annoying.

Oh my goodness, what can I say about this book? I'm not sure if I can come up with the adequate words to describe my feelings on this book. I first want to say this was actually my very first book I have read of Mrs. Faiman's. I have helped out on some book releases on my blog, but have yet to actually read one of her books yet. So I have to say I was super excited to be able to read this book the description made me really want to read it. Maybe also the fact that I love MC books. I'm not going to go into my whole thing about being picky when it comes to MC books. I was just hoping this book didn't disappoint and boy did this book Not Disappoint.

I will admit I'm not one to really go for the Insta-Like/Love books, but recently I seem to be reading a lot of them. But I think the insta-like/love really works for this book. Also I will openly admit while reading this book I was a little afraid where it was going, but I had to have faith the author knew where she was going with the book. I don't want to give anything away, but I think the way she went once again worked really well for this book.

I liked Kentlee's character. I thought she was sweet, caring, a bit naive, and strong. Yeah she was definitely strong. She did what she had to do to survive to take care of her baby by herself. There were a couple times I thought she would break, but she didn't.

I really liked Fury right off the bat. He was kind of a different kind of MC president, than I'm used to reading about. Fury finds himself the new, well semi-new president of a MC club. I thought he was sweet, caring, a bit stubborn at times (read the book and you'll know why).

I really really enjoyed this book. As I said above I was a little afraid where it was going, but it all worked out in the end. I really liked both Fury and Kentlee's characters and thought they worked well together. My heart broke for both of them and what they went through. I will say this though I wish we could have gotten a better feel for the Club and its members. I mean we meet a few and kind of only get to know one. I also really loved Fury's dad!!!!

I'm giving this book 4.5 Stars Out of 5 and can't wait for the next book!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Bookaholic Mama reviews for Words Turn Me On 26 March 2016

I’m a huge fan of the MC genre, so of course I wanted to read this book when I saw it. Fury is a hot alpha male MC president. He’s strong, loyal, and, through this book, matures a great deal. Kentlee is young but strong. She has low self-esteem when she meets the MC President. Her parents want her to find a rich husband, settle down and have some kids. However, she wants to support herself; she’s shy so meeting men isn’t all that easy. I liked this book well enough. Good MC story, not my favorite type of romance, insta-love. I personally would have killed Fury for the crap he pulled, but it’s a work of fiction, and it adds to Kentlee’s strength. This may seem like an odd statement coming from me, if you know anything about me, but there was too much sex in my opinion. I’m mad at you, let’s have sex, you did me wrong, let’s have sex, you were kidnapped, let’s have sex. Their entire relationship was having sex, fighting and having sex again. I give this book 3.5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fury and Kentlee Perfect Start to A NEW SERIES 24 March 2016

4.5 Stars out of 5 Stars
This is my first time reading a book from this author and I can assure you it will not be my last. I am a huge MC book fan and what I love in a good MC read is some grit, danger, bad ass bikers, drama, angst and of course when there is an alpha male. Rough and Rowdy was everything I look for in a good MC read and more. I am not a huge fan of insta-love, but Hayley Faiman made it work really well within the plot and the overall character development.

Fury is the President of the Notorious Devil’s MC and holding the that title comes with heavy expectations. Fury has his share of women but he is tired of the emptiness and the lack of emotion that that comes with the women. He knows that they only want to hold the title of his “old Lady” but none of them really want to know the real man. Fury wants so much more in life, but with the kind of life he leads, he thinks he can never have anything more in life. Dreaming for more turns into a reality when he sees Kentlee, one day.

Kentlee is a woman that I related too in this story and really liked because she is an independent woman. Her parents want her to marry a rich man and play the role of the perfect house wife, but that is something she does not want to do. Kentlee wants to find a man that loves her for who she is. She wants a man that will cherish her and take care of her. One that will make her feel things she has never felt before, and she starts to feels those things when she meets Fury the President of the Notorious Devils MC.

Man oh man, Fury was so frustrating at times but I loved him. Fury saw Kentlee as innocent, classy and pure. He did not want to taint her with the comings and goings of the club life, so he kept her away from the club. I loved Fury’s rough façade, his charm and his dominance. The conflict and inner battle in this book held my interest and the desire between this couple was crazy hot. What I loved most was watching Kentlee grow during this story. She handled some tough situations and she kept on moving. There were plenty of times that Kentlee really, really irritated me with how she easily accepted some of Fury’s explanations. I felt really proud of her when she turns a corner and doesn’t make it easy for him when he really screws up. I really liked that no matter what she wasn’t walking away either. This is where we see Fury grow. He knew he messed up and he had to let go of his fears and show Kentlee just how much she meant to him. He was no longer the big bad biker, but just a “man” fighting for the forgiveness of his woman.

I would highly recommend this book. It is worth the ride and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars 24 March 2016

Kentlee is the picture of the good girl. Always doing what's expected of her, though being at the bottom of the totem pole in her family. Her brother is away at college becoming a doctor and her little sister is doing just what they bred her for, marrying for money.
Kentlee on the other hand has gone her own way, while she's still at her family's beck and call basically and stuck suffering through her sisters wedding preparations she wants more.
Then she meets Fury.
What could be the farthest from her norm? One night with a sexy biker.
One night with a man so different from anything in her life, one night with a man who rocks her world in ways she never knew possible.
Pierce Duhart aka Fury is a bad boy with a capital B. He spots the sweet and innocent Kentlee and he has to have her.
But one night with her doesn't seem to be enough. He likes having a sweet girl, not the club whores and usual types that throw themselves at him. He's found a woman who is truly attracted to him as a man.
Fury doesn't want an old lady though, he'd be happy to have Kentlee on the side an keep her away from the club. And for awhile his plan works until something happens and he's taken from her.

Kentlee spends three years with basically no support. Fury's gone and refuses to see her, her family disowned her for her relationship with him and there's another surprise, you'll have to read to find out!!
Without being claimed as Fury's old lady the club won't help her out while he's gone, lucky for her though she does have one friend with ties to both her sister and the club and he does what he can to help her out, otherwise she'd be completely on her own during the most trying time of her life.

Three years later Fury's home, but he doesn't think he deserves her. A threat from his father and a reunion with Kentlee and he has to move quickly to get what he wants.

Loved Rough and Rowdy, it's easily one of my favorite MC books and I cannot wait for book two, hopefully it won't be long!
