To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Such a shame. This variation started out well with a good premise. I liked the descriptions of Rose Cottage and the early interactions between the characters but the second half of the book became a confusion of unconnected threads of the story. The characters actions and decisions were often a surprise and were not foreshadowed. This could have been a lovey variation but needs a great deal of rewriting and editing.
Mr. Bennet dies and Lizzy never got THE letter! Jane is married to Mr. Bingley but Elizabeth still hates Darcy. Mrs. Bennet suddenly develops some common sense! This story spends a lot of time in non-sense and is quick when action is taking place. There is a lot about construction and furniture. There are things that would not have taken place in Regency. SPOILER Alert 1- Lady Madlock asking everyone, including Mrs. Gardiner, to address her by her first name. 2 - Caroline Bingley being the Viscount’s wife best friend? Really? 3 - Georgiana marry John Lucas? The last chapter is like an Epilogue and there are things that you need to let your imagination adapt to.
