Sarah will do anything to save her brother’s life and offers herself as payment in exchange for her brother’s life.

A jaded mob boss and an innocent kindergarten teacher equals hot steamy love

Roman is the head of La Cosa Nostra in New Orleans along with his two brothers (triplets) Sarah's brother stole a shipment of guns from them and that should mean a death sentance but Sarah approaches Roman offering her body to him if he will spare her brother.
It does not take long before the plucky little Infant school teacher gets under his skin and although he enjoys intimidating her and humiliating her by putting her on display naked before his men he finds himself falling in love and enjoying her company.

There are many parts of this book that are dark and are degrading to woman but it is all consensual and the scenes are very hot and steamy.
Of course true love does not run smoothly and it takes Sarah being kidnapped and in danger of her life for Roman to realise once and for all that he cannot do without her.

A really fast paced book with lots of action, interesting dialogue, hot sexual encounters and touching interaction.

Not as good as Lukas

Althought they can be read out of order, which is what I did, thos is the first book in this series. I have to admit if I had read it first I probably wouldnt have rushed to buy the other 2. However thanks to reading Lulas first, Im still going to read Dominics story next. This was good, just not as strong as Lukas and Reinas story for me.

Sarah teaches in a kindergarden. Her brother Robbie worked for La Cosa Nostra, he has stolen from them. They, or in particular Roman Rinaldi, is not very happy, you steal, you die. Just before he puts out a hit out on him, he's told Robbie's sister is at the door to talk to him. She wants to make a deal to save her brothers life, so she is allowed in to try and make her deal, which Roman declines, then tells her the deal he will accept.

Jury is still out.. I didnt really enjoy this book in some ways, mostly because I cant fathom an educated smart woman stooping to the levels that Roman wanted her to do.. a woman should never be humiliated or embarrassed in any way because a guy thinks its ok to do that in front of other guys... such humiliation she endured... I am not sure if I will continue to read anything from this author..... just not for me... also, this author needs to get herself a good proofreader because there were some errors that were obvious

The gauntlet is thrown into the ring. The challenge is accepted. A deal is made. A contract drawn setting the terms to pay off a debt. Let the sex begin. I didn’t like Sarah. She had no backbone and she was an idiot. Roman was okay but it was weird because for all his supposedly Sicilian Mob bada$$ness, he was soft and quickly succumbed to Sarah’s charms. Needing her. He was too touchy-feely for a bad guy, and their insta-lust turned too personal too soon in the story. This author was anxious to get to the sex scenes and didn’t lay a foundation. No story, just detailed sex scenes strung together in the illusion of a plot. And it was boring. No backstory. No good character descriptions. Poor editing. But at 60% it gets good. Really good. Good drama with awesome tension. And for that reason, 2⭐️

What started out as repayment blossoms into something so much more. I love that we get a sense of Roman’s true feelings for Sarah from the first time that they meet. He is super good at hiding them, but there are little things that let his growing love shine through. Sarah has a much harder time hiding her feelings, but she tries to keep her soft center under wraps. Well until he gets mad and lets irrational actions fly. Luckily the rest of the trio are there to talk him off the ledge, but not before he almost loses everything. Will he be able to recover his true love in time? I’ll never tell. Grab a copy of this great read and find out for yourself. I will tell you this though, I am looking forward to reading the next book!

Whew, that was intense. Sex aside, the relationship between Roman and Sarah was hot. Roman is one of triplet, alpha mafia bosses, to whom family and respect mean everything. Sarah tries to save her brother by offering herself in his place. Although Roman enjoys the darker side of kink and he tries to keep it business and his feelings out of it, he finds himself falling for Sarah.

This is a dark romance, but with a side of suspense when Sarah becomes a pawn with Roman's enemies. I read it in one sitting and can't wait to read about the rest of the triple threat.
