I really don't like giving star ratings because I feel like every book has a reader somewhere. This is one of those books.
I wasn't sure about this book, but I know it's going to have some major fans out there!! This book is a rockstar book, without being about the rock band as such. Ash and Michelle meet under unlikely circumstances, and after some back and forth, they finally take the plunge to see what is there. Michelle isn't used to attention from someone like Ash, and Ash isn't used to someone wholesome like Michelle. The two of them navigate the new relationship throughout the book. If you are looking for some hot erotica and exploration then this is a good book to read. There's a little drama weaved through, but I feel like that is being set up for next books. The real drama to the storyline comes towards the end and keeps the reader interested in the story and the relationship. This is a first in the series and does end abruptly, but I think it's purposeful to keep the reader keen and ready for the next book! Like I said, grab this book for some steamy scenes about a dirty bass player in a rock band!

This is a good read, I laughed a lot and welled up a few times. The rock star characters aren't what you'd expect; they all have different, complementary personalities. They all feel like a massive family- my family. These men are established rock stars and two of them have been married and have kids. The 'brotherhood ' is so real you can almost touch it. They really will do anything for each other. Ash is so damn cute. He is caring and generous and totally loveable. Michelle is quiet and quite innocent compared and neither of them think the other could possibly be interested in them. The story is well written and has me wanting more from this couple and the rest of the group, Velocity.

Michelle is a teacher; she is working for a charity that is mostly funded by the boys from Velocity. They come in to help out when they aren't on tour and Ash has had his eye on Michelle for a long time. Michelle is still coping with the break up from her last boyfriend who left her with a lot of problems. She likes Ash a lot but knows a relationship with a rock star isn't going to happen in the real world. The pair get close and fall fast and hard. They are so sweet together.
This story has a mix of the whole band and dual points of view from Ash and Michelle. I can't wait to find out how the tour goes and catch up on the other members lives.

A Book Lovers Emporium.

I could not get enough of this book. I can not wait for Velocity 2! Sweet but erotic love story. Also the rock theme keeps you drawn to it. I also loved the freindship & brotherhood of the band members. I liked how they all loved one another like family rather than fighting & drama.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely loved this book.....Ash is a man after my own heart 14 December 2016

Bella Jeanesse is a new author to me, and after reading Rockin' Rhythm I will definitely be reading more of her work. I thoroughly enjoyed her story of Ash and Michelle, it was such an inspiring book of love, friendship, support and family. Not only is this story about Ash and Michelle, but it is also about the friends that they have.

Ash Taylor is a rock star, but he is different from those that I have read in previous rock star books. He is unaffected by his fame, in fact, he is down right ordinary. Yes he has money, but he does not flaunt it, he uses his money to help those who are less fortunate than himself, and this is one of his most endearing qualities. Ash comes from a broken background and doesn't believe that he has the ability to love or be loved, so he has never allowed anyone to get close to him, apart from his fellow band members. But all that changes when he begins to take more notice of Michelle, he begins to have fantasies and dreams about her. In fact, he can't get her out of his mind.

Michelle Reynolds, works at Safe Haven, a centre for disadvantaged youths, a place that is fully funded by Ash Taylor and his band. Michelle has had a past that she would rather forget. It is because of a previous relationship, that went sour, that she has decided t give up on ever finding love. She does have a crush though, a secret one, on Ash Taylor. But she would never believe that Ash would return her feelings.

This story was a wonderful one to read. Watching two characters move through their friendship and find the one thing that has avoided them was a treat. What started out as a slow moving friendship, over two years, soon turned into a hot and steamy relationship, had me wanting to turn the pages faster than I could read them. I couldn't get enough of this couple. Along with all the love there is a touch of drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I cannot wait to read the further stories that will come in this series. The stories of Leo, Ian and Brian, and even hopefully of Jacob, are ones that will further enhance this wonderful group of people.

Definitely FIVE ROCKIN' STARS from this satisfied reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read and start to the series 7 December 2016

Rockin’ Rhythm was a great 5 star read.

Ash is living the dream of being a rock star. Women willing to do anything and everything he wanted without commitments. Being on the road limits the contact that Ash has with people other than his band members. He has been hurt in the past and is protective of his feelings and letting people get too close.

Michelle works for a charity that the band funds. This is where Ash has seen her and has finally decided to ask her out. Michelle is getting over a recent breakup and isn’t sure if she is ready quite yet for another one. Of course the guys in the band know that Ash likes Michelle and rib him whenever they can. She feels slightly intimidated by the hot women that are around the band.

Those chicks are so phony. I like real women. - Ash

When these two finally connect the heat comes off of the pages. WOW.
Am I turning into a sexual deviant? I hope no one at The Center finds out - Michelle

I really enjoyed reading about Michelle and Ash. I have to say one of my favorite scenes was the shower scene when she asked him “Why do you always use that word?”, loved his answer. Seeing these two grow as a couple was great. I liked the alternating POV’s between them as well. There are some twist and turns that added great elements to the story. And for the record I feel the same way she did about his pet Killer. Bella Jeanisse does a great job with her writing. I really enjoyed Rockin’ Rhythm and I can’t wait to see more from this series.
