Another great story from this author, I wasn't familiar with any of these characters I realise from the reviews that Amber is from another of K E Osborns series unfortunately I've only read The Trust Me? Trilogy, Just Friends? (The Shattered Hearts Series) and this Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree and I've loved it all.
I loved how this story was told, Amber and Ashton were sort of together but it didn't last and wasn't meant to be and with everything Amber had and was still going through it was really sad, you felt her pain and loss.
Before we know it we are finding out that Amber is now a single mother of 1yr old Charli, my emidiate reaction was it must be Ashton's but know that would have been way to obvious and it fact Mase was indeed the father and this is what I liked because it didn't go the obvious route.
All the characters were brilliant, Mase was sweet and I really felt for him, I was hoping he would find someone else to focus on instead of holding out for Amber in the hopes she would eventually love him back .
What can I say about Brax... From the moment he came on the scene the chemistry between him and Amber was very apparent, but there were demons and history on both parts.
Amber fought her feelings for Brax for a while believing that she'd probably get hurt again and so chaneling all her love into Charli her daughter but very slowly you witnessed the bond between Brax and Amber develope, it was inevitable because of the situation and their chemistry.
As the storyline continued you could only hope that it all worked out, it didn't help that Mase was causing problems on and off because he saw Amber and Charli as his girls and then the ever protective Hunter who was Ambers twin brother was throwing threats even though Brax was his best friend he had his concerns because of what Brax had been through and only wanted Amber happy and without any more stress and drama but Amber was more than happy with Brax and so being secretive was the way to go.
This is where you are waiting for something to go wrong and it did and I don't mean Astons crazy fans either and just as you are coming to terms with the situation between Amber Brax the story takes another turn and this time it's to do with Mase.
Your on the edge of your seat for a while, Brax is bought back to save the day and he does but not without him getting caught up in the cross fire.
By this time Mase and Hunter have softened their views toward Amber and Brax's relationship, no more hiding and the remaining part of the story is beautiful but Christmas is around the corner and you feel the sadness and the tension building because it's that time that Amber and Hunter normally hide away but Brax has a plan and with a little persuasion they all head off to Brax's family home, there are some very sad and touching moments Brax really is everything Amber could wish for.
Christmas ended up being a wonderful time and it was at this point that Mase and Evie were becoming quite fond of each other.. At last!
The next thing I knew as the story came to a close I was crying my eyes out, it became very emotional but beautiful at the same time!!
Thank you for another great story!

A Rockin but emotional story!!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2016
Another Must Read From K.E. Osborn!Reviewed in the United States on 21 December 2015
I am a huge fan of K.E. Osborn's rock star books and couldn't wait to read Amber's story in this spin-off. I really enjoyed reading Amber's side of the story about her relationship with Aston (from Rock Solid) and seeing how damaged and flawed she was. Amber, reeling from her mother's death and Aston breaking up with her, gets drunk and has sex with her best friend/bandmate Mason and they have a daughter Charli. The book picks up about 2 years after Aston breaks up with Amber. Fans are still attacking her and blaming her for Aston and Annie's breakup so Amber's twin brother, Hunter, insists on hiring her a bodyguard to take care of her. In walks Brax, someone Amber knew from her childhood days as Hunter's close friend but back then he was a scrawny little thing. Brax is now a muscled, sexy man and ex-soldier and Amber can't keep her eyes off of him. They have instant chemistry and try to stay away from each other but, ultimately cannot. Mason, who has been in love with Amber for years, tries repeatedly to get Amber to be with him but Amber only has eyes for Brax. We find out that Brax is suffering from PTSD and has horrible night terrors that are very dangerous. After a scary episode, Brax leaves and goes to get help. The love story of Amber and Brax is intense and beautiful. Both suffer from events in their past and each must deal with their issues individually before they can truly be together. There are twists and turns throughout the book and some are major shockers! In the end, Annie and Brax get their happy ending. The epilogue had me ugly crying in the most unexpected way. K. E. Osborn has a way of wrapping up a story that leaves the reader with a lump in their throat from sadness but a smile in their heart that everything worked out for the best. As with her book Totally Rocked, we get to briefly read about the future of the main characters. And as in Totally Rocked, I was sad that there might not be any more books to go along with this one (but I'm really hoping we get Hunter and Mason's stories). It was that good! Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree is definitely another 5 star story from one of my favorite authors out there.
