About the Author
ROBERT MUCHAMORE was born in Islington in 1972. As a teenager he dreamt of either becoming an architect, a photographer or a writer. On discovering that architects have to train for seven years and after quitting his Saturday job in a camera shop, he saved up enough money to buy a word processor and set his heart on writing. The only problem was, he didn't know what to write. So, he found a regular job and spent thirteen years as a private investigator. He was inspired to start writing again by his nephew's complaints about the lack of anything decent to read. Robert's CHERUB and Henderson's Boys series are bestsellers around the world.Robert grew up listening to mix tapes sent to him by his older brother, developing tastes for indie bands like Joy Division, The Pogues and The Smiths. The idea for Rock War came from seeing that many of Robert's fans turned up at book signings wearing the logos of long dead rock bands, and a realisation that his online fan forum had more kids talking about the X-Factor than about his books. For more information, go to www.muchamore.com.

This has probally been the worst book of the entire series as Robert has made it $12 and left readers on a cliffhanger for another year. He didn't close the plot on Dylan, the ending is terrible and the series is called "Rock War" but I don't see anyone returning to it in the book.

This book series keeps on getting better and better. when you thought it couldn't get any mad and crazy...it does! 😂😂😂😂. The finals are near and hormones, tension, teenagers and music are a bad combination. Theo is still wild and his antics are funny (and shocking) as hell! , wasn't a huge fan of jay in the middle of this book (and u will see why) , Michelle is still insane and this epic conclusion to the rock war tv show is as entertaining as ever!
I love how this book doesn't have a one track mind. The first and second book every one of these teenagers were pretty much going through the same thing. But with this book looking at the characters dealing with serious issues like addiction, violence and heartbreak it made it a lot more serious then the other books which set it apart really well. Everything was SO fast paced and a real page turner. And (for me) this book sets itself up for the next when they decide if stardom is for them? Or the normal life is better.
Obvs it wouldn't be a rock war book of Robert didn't put a shocking cliff hanger in there 😂😂😂😂 so look out for that as well! Such an enjoyable sick read!

A good book but not a good sequel
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2017Verified Purchase
This book was really good but it was actually quite depressing at times all the bands fell from grace except for the snobbiest. Dylan's drug addiction was horrific to read and Summer and Jay's storylines were very sad to read although I'm glad that Jay is now happy with the only issue being Theo mellowing down for US success and Adam quitting music. I hope the next book has a happy ending for all the characters except half term haircut.
