3.75 stars-ROCK MY BODY is the fourth full length and final installment in Michelle A. ValentineÃÃ,¢(tm)s adult, contemporary Black Falcon erotic romance series focusing on the members of the rock group Black Falcon. This is guitarist and song writer Tyke Douglas, and addiction counselor Dr. Francine MeadÃÃ,¢(tm)s storyline.

Told from alternating first person points of view (Tyke and Frannie) the premise of ROCK MY BODY focuses on TykeÃÃ,¢(tm)s spiral into addiction. Feeling ÃÃ,¢~left outÃÃ,¢(tm) and going nowhere fast, TykeÃÃ,¢(tm)s jealousy of his band mateÃÃ,¢(tm)s happiness turns inward and Tyke finds himself behind bars without any memory of what happened or why. When his fellow musicians send him packing, he decides to take matters into his own hand but winding up in rehab wasnÃÃ,¢(tm)t on his list of things to do. Enter Dr. Francine Mead-an addiction counselor whose own addiction will be tested when she meets the gorgeous rock star.

The relationship between Tyke and Frannie is very quick to develop-in fact-so quickly that love at first sight is exactly what occurs between our storyline couple. Frannie knows that to get involved with a patient is ethically wrong but their attraction to one another cannot be denied. Not only does Frannie find herself falling in love but it is Tyke who begins to push for something more permanent. That is until someone at the rehab centre has proof that there is more between Tyke and Frannie than a professional relationship. The sex scenes are not romantic or seductive; in fact the sex is spur of the moment and intense because our couple are testing the ethical values of patient and doctor relationship, and time is of the essence so they donÃÃ,¢(tm)t get caught.

We have been eagerly waiting for the next addition to the Black Falcon series and it was definitely worth the wait. Tyke finally gets to tell his story and it was one hell of a ride!

Tyke Douglas is over being the one that holds his band together, he’s the controlled one, always keeping everything in line and giving it his all. His band mates have all got their own thing going on; kids, wives and girlfriends. Dedication to his band is everything and he feels like he’s the only one putting 100% into it. After being fed up with the bullsh*t that is now his band, Tyke is on a downward spiral, drugs, lots of women and reckless behavior. After one dangerous incident it became apparent that the guys in the band, Riff, Noel and Trip are fed up with the way that Tyke is acting. With the stakes high, Trip convinces him to go to rehab. Reluctant and thinking he doesn't have an addiction problem, Tyke goes, after all how hard can it be going to rehab if you don’t have an addiction? Especially when it's the only ultimatum he’s been giving, get help or you're out!

“Jesus Christ, are you fu€k!ng serious? Rehab? I don’t need fu€£ing rehab.” Just where in the fo€k do they get off? I've never been as bad as Noel was. Okay so maybe I missed a few shows where he never did when he was using, but it was only a few times.

Starting a new job, a new life Francine Mead never thought she’d make it. Her own demons and past struggles had kept her down for so long. But this new job, in a secluded rehab facility could be just the thing she needs to get away from everything that she used to be. Never did she imagine that her first day of work she would walk in and be so physically drawn to someone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Tyke and Frannie!! 12 November 2014

Sarah's 5 Star Review

The Black Falcon series by Michelle Valentine is my favorite rock star series. I am very sad that Rock My Body is the final book in the series. This book can be read as a standalone but I definitely recommend reading the entire series from the beginning to get the full understanding of the characters and situations.

Tyke Douglas is the glue that has always kept Black Falcon together. When all the other members decide to start settling down he feels like the band is slowly falling apart. He has always fought to keep the guys together but the pressure becomes to much and he starts neglecting his duties as a member of the band. He starts skipping meetings because the drugs have gotten ahold of him. His band members kick him out of the band and things quickly spiral out of control. Tyke's twin brother and fellow band member Tripp along with Noel and Riff decide that Tyke needs to go to rehab to get help with his addiction. Will he get the help he needs so he can stay in the band?

Frannie is an addiction counselor at the facility that Tyke ends up at. She has a slight addiction to bad boys but in order to keep her job she must keep her distance from Tyke. As they spend more time together she finds it harder to resist him. Will Frannie be able to stay away from Tyke or will she fall for him?

I loved the connection between Tyke and Frannie. They were both very well written characters that balanced each other out. I loved the way their story ends. I loved the twists and turns the story took. You will have to read it to find out what happens.

The epilogues were probably my favorite part as Michelle tied up every band members story. It was nice to be able to catch up with all of them again. I am so sad that this series has come to an end but I am excited to see what she is working on next!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great story in this series. 19 January 2016

Tyke was the only member of Black Falcon who was unattached and felt like he was the only one who cared about the band. The other three were more worried about their wife or girl friend. Turning to drugs, something happens and the life Tyke knew might be over. Forced to make changes, Tyke goes somewhere. While there he meets Frannie. While they have instant chemistry, is it enough? Can Tyke get back to what he was before he threw it all away? As with the other books in this series, I enjoyed hearing another band members story. Enjoy this story of undeniable attraction and plenty of sole searching. Great one!
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Conclusion 15 November 2014

I'm heartbroken that this series has ended, but this was an incredible conclusion. We were give small glimpses of Tyke in the other Black Falcon books, so I wasn't really sure exactly what to expect from his character. I absolutely loved him. Tyke is definitely the most sensitive of the BF boys. The event that lead to him going to rehab broke my heart. I loved seeing the sensitive side of his relationship with Trip when he took Tyke to rehab. It was good to see a more sensitive side of Trip as well.

For me, this was the most emotional book of this series. Tyke and Frannie both have demons that they're facing and trying to overcome. I liked that the book showed that overcoming addiction isn't a quick fix - it's a daily journey, and one that requires support from those around you. Although they weren't with Tyke physically in rehab, the BF boys played a major role in what lead to his addiction, and his recovery as well.

Frannie doesn't deny that she is attracted to Tyke, but does her best to fight it. Tyke doesn't make this easy on her. He realizes that they could be what the other needs in order to heal. Will Frannie give in to the attraction, or will she put her career first?

While I loved Tyke and Frannie's story, my favorite part of the book was the epilogue. We get to see what's been going on with all of the members of Black Falcon and their families. Again, I hate to see this series end, but this was an incredible conclusion.
5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Story by Michelle! 13 December 2014

First I want to say that I just love this series and Rock My Body was a great end to a great series.

This one follows Tyke - Trip's twin brother as he spirals out of control, though he doesn't see it that way. In order to stay in the band that he loves so much and is trying to keep together with everyone getting married and having kids, he has to go into rehab to deal with his addiction - the one he feels he doesn't have. There he meets Franny - an addictions counselor with her own addiction she needs to deal with. When these two come together, even knowing they shouldn't be together for a few reasons it is explosive. They are perfect for each other.

There are a few bumps in the road for them, but that doesn't stop them from being together. And once Tyke accepts the help that he needs and really has a good talk with his fellow band mates, Black Falcon is back and better than before.

I'm sad that this is the end for this series I think Michelle did a great job wrapping up the story and I look forward to reading more of her books. :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars A fitting farewell 14 November 2014

Having read the entire series, I was both sad that it was coming to an end. But in true Michelle Valentine fashion, she gave us a story that both warmed my heart and made me smile.

This is Tyke's story, sexy bassist for Black Falcon and twin brother to Trip. He has been spiraling out of control for almost a year and finally Noel, Riff and Trip decide he needs help to finally face his demons and get off the drugs and alcohol. He is sent to a rehab facility and within minutes of his arrival, he meets the woman who will both help him get clean and win his heart. Frannie Mead has seen her own world of heartache but since turning her life around, she is now a successful addiction counselor and her first patient at her new job is none other than Tyke Douglas. Although her attraction to him is immediate, she knows the rules and the boundaries she has set for herself and they can never be. But when emotions and simply lust start to get the better of them, can Tyke and Frannie really stay apart?

Wow. The author really turned up the heat with this book. The chemistry between Tyke and Frannie lept off the pages of my Kindle. You just knew they had to be together. I enjoyed their deep conversations, his professional sessions with her were hard but he managed to pull through.

There were secondary characters that added some great moments but I felt as if I could have gotten just a bit more. I would have wanted to experience Tyke's withdrawal firsthand and to get inside his head a bit more. The connection between Tyke and Frannie was spot on but at times it felt a bit rushed. The subplot of blackmail was a great addition but again I feel that could've been played up just a bit.

Overall I have truly enjoyed this series and highly recommend you start at the beginning. It is well written and I feel now that it is over, that I will miss this crew. I have throughly enjoyed getting to know each and everyone of Black Falcon and the women that tamed them.

A solid 4 stars!
