One evening in Washington, DC, several high-ranking members of government disappear in a mass kidnapping. This was really rather good fun, if not what one could describe as "literature". The plot is gloriously far-fetched. Our heroes dash around the world as they try to discover who is kidnapping people involved in the American drone programme and what dastardly plans the kidnappers may have. Fortunately, the goodies seem to be blessed with extraordinary good luck. All very gripping.

This book is NOT written by Robert Ludlum. I realised my mistake only after I'd nearly finished, wondering why the prose was more clunky and simplistic that the Borne Identify that I had finished previously. The truth is that this is written by another author . Although topical, it is bland and quite simplistic. Definitely not worth £13.99.
