The story is well written and I actually really liked the main characters. I really wanted to know the mystery behind why their names were different/they didnt know eachother and how Greg was going to sell the business but I didnt like what happened with Laney and I skimmed too much of the last 1/4 I missed the interesting bits (if they acutally were explained?)
Overall a ok throw down book and I am sure if you love the enemies to lovers troupe this is worth a read.
There are some not so nice people involved, some you won't pick. Overall a bit of spice, angst, suspense & drama. A surprisingly decent read.

The explanation for Ethan and Kat not working the first time around was extremely weak and I wasn't drawn in by the emotional stuff at the end. The part with the former Deputy in the office doesn't make sense. Is he a good or bad guy?
I feel utterly dissatisfied after reading this. The book needs a good edit or a few more chapters throughout because it doesn't seem complete.
