Spence has owned restaurants, a specialist-clothing factory, and an award-winning cosmetic beauty clinic and with her husband, she jointly owns a surveying company with the occasional lecturer gig on dermal science and cosmetic chemistry.
Debra Spence sense of adventure extends to her hobbies. She sailed in the notorious Sydney to Hobart yacht race and represented Australia (ranking 8th) in the World Tasar Sailing Competition. She was also part of the RAAF’s Snow Ski team and can be found on weekends stand-up paddling or motorbike riding.
