I enjoyed part two of Vaughn and Ryker's story and the suspense on their way to their happily ever after. Loved the fierceness with which he wants to protect her and her journey to trusting him again.

Reveal is a great read. The tension starts in Reveal right from the get-go. I was thrown right back into the thick of the angst. I felt wound up and on edge from the first chapter.
I enjoyed these characters and the fight they had against challenges that seemed insurmountable.
I love Vaughn and Ryker. They developed as individuals in book one and in book two they need to find if they can work as a couple. So much seems to stand in their way, most notably themselves! Vaughn is such a multi-layered character. I love stories that have a strong female lead and Vaughn is one tough cookie. She does show her vulnerable side, which made me feel for her and her situation even more.
I feel that perhaps the lack of build-up created a slightly stagnant flow in regard to the plot at the beginning of Reveal; I was waiting for something new to happen. I was excited that the plot livened up and twisted about during the second half though.
Reveal is book two of The Wicked Ways duet and must be read after book one, Resist. The end of this duet packs a punch and the story wraps up neatly. Although not my favourite K Bromberg novel, Reveal is still a worthwhile read.

You need to have read Resist before diving in to Reveal, is it carries on right where the first book finished off.
Ugh, now at the end of the first book I was so annoyed with our leading lady. Seriously Vaughn, after all you and Ryker had been through, you run off p!ssed at him and the world and don't let him talk to you. Did you really think that was what happened. Ugh. This is a big bug bear of mine, when the characters don't communicate.
After they got past that, it was an intriguing story. Who was messing with Vaughn? What had she gotten caught up in. I was riveted the whole time I was reading.
And Ryker, Ryker, Ryker - for a smart man, you were a bit gullible.
There were so many questions after the first book, and I was not sure that Ms Bromberg was going to be able to tie up all the loose ends in the second installment, however I shouldn't have worried, she never lets me down that way.
There were a couple of twists that I certainly did not see coming too!

Reveal by K. Bromberg is the second book in her Wicked Ways series. The conclusion to Ryker and Vaughn's story that picks up from the cliffhanger in book one, Resist, with that last scene from Ryker's POV and just keeps on trucking through plot twists and dangerous situations until I wasn't sure Vaughn would make it out of her "business" alive, let alone uncscathed. Powerful and emotional with some really twisted turns this book was awesome. It was so much more than I was expecting and everything I could have hoped for in the conclusion to their story. Enjoy!

I loved this conclusion to Ryker & Vaughn's story. Plenty of emotions, action, mistakes and more. They certainly didn't make it easy to reach their HEA. There were times that I wanted to shake them both. The chemistry in this one was seriously hot & I loved the way the story twisted and turned right to the very end. Definitely recommend.

Very fast paced, action packed story, however I feel the author lost control at the end trying to tie up all the loose ends. Too many “baddies” and too many issues surrounding the lead characters made the story convoluted.
However, well written and very emotive and the romance was excellent, which is the reason we all rock up in the first place.

K Brombergs Best !

Just wow !!!
If your a K Bromberg fan , to me this is her best yet if your new to her , what an introduction because if this doesn’t blow you away I’m not sure what will, this duet is simply amazing and very much a top read for me this year !
I’m not sure how to put it into words just how freaking incredible this story is !
From the me bombshell of book 1 I’ve been dying to get my hands on this to see what exactly was happening !
Ryker Lockhart is EVERYTHING!!!
The love and passion between these two runs deep. Theres patience and understanding!
And he will melt your heart !
The most un-selfish person is Vaughn- her determination and things she does out of pure love for others makes her a strong loveable character your in awe of.
The thoughts process of this story blew me away , full of twists, secrets and lies is so impressive, you hang on every word written !
it’s nerve wracking and had my anger simmering and then it’s heart warming. A true rollercoaster journey this story is!
The vindictive and Vicious ways of people with power will have your blood boiling.
In a hurtful and ignorance world no truer words says - show support love and care - don’t turn a blind eye.
Loved it and it highly deserves every one of the 5 stars given !

A great reading experience.

Often a follow up or part two book can be a disappointment or a rush job. Part two of this phenomenal duet is now be of these. It is so exciting, dramatic, intriguing, fast moving and totally unpredictable. We start book two with the prelude being the end of book one. Vaughn is one very strong willed lady and Ryker one very desirable alpha Male. The description of Lucy is so tender, and Carter an absolute skim ball. Each character is believable, and the reader is kept in suspense as much as the characters. Kirsty has a wonderful way with words and her books flow so easily. The only down side when you finish the book you feel bereaved. I have yet to read a novel by this distinguished author that is not of 5 star quality and this book continues to go above and beyond. There is everything here, romance, drama, trust, sleaze and difficult subjects sensitively covered. An excellent conclusion to a fabulous duet.

I could not put this eulogy down

I got totally hooked by this duology and could not pit it down. Why exactly I don’t know, but I enjoyed both books. The main characters, Ryder & Vaughn, definitely did not ‘get it on’ enough - AGAIN(!).
The other main problem I had was the ending.
(Slight spoiler alert coming below)
There were a couple of chapters were things seemed to drag and you could see a ‘showdown’ with the senator coming (and coming and coming and coming...) and then it happened so suddenly AND then Vaughn had to face a showdown with a 2nd male a few hours later?!?!?! All the action seemed ridiculously squeezed in at the end. It would have worked well if this had been ‘better spaced’ over a few chapters (in my humble opinion)

edge of your seat kind of stuff.

Bloody hell! What a way to end a series! That was intense! I’m trying to write something coherent, but all I can think is “ahhhh!” This book was incredible. Heartbreaking and honestly terrifying at times but so well written. And although I did see a certain couple of plot twist coming, I definitely didn’t expect them to unfold the way they did. My heart was in my mouth for the majority of this book, its edge of your seat kind of stuff. I will warn you though, there are some graphic scenes of sexual assault and violence within this book that readers may find distressing and some readers may feel that this book is not for them.

Brilliant, edge of the seat reading.

Brilliant, so many twists and turns you get whiplash. We start with Ryker's version of his conversation with Carter, which of course is different to Vaughn's. Will she ever be able to trust him again?
The plot between Carter, Ryker and Vaughn gets more twisted to the point you don't know who IS telling the truth. Can Vaughn ever work it out, and with all that's going on it looks like she will never get to adopt Lucy.
As ever, Kristy keeps you guessing, and adds a few surprises I for good measure. Loved this duet.
