Ria was on the run from the Mafia, with a new identity she thought she was safe working as a waitress in a Dom Club. She had protected herself with a bad attitude and a vicious mouth that kept men away from her, intent on forging a new life for herself and her friend. When her friend is manhandled by a patron she steps into help and finds her in the hands one one of the Doms. Connor was intent on teaching this little sub her place and punished her for breaking the club rules and bad attitude. Ria knew she had been bad and accepted her punishment but the chemistry between them meant that they soon agreed to the Dom/submissive relationship they both wanted and needed. This book was addictive, their relationship fraught with unspoken hurt but caring and protective at the same time. Ria was falling in love with Connor and it took her capture to accept that he loved her as well. If you have read Laylahs books before you have will know that each couple have their uniqueness. Conner and Ria have theirs as well, funny in parts which i might add at 11pm at night had me stiffling my laughter in order not to wake hubby. I found the story quiet riverting it had me engaged from start to finish . I also could see potential for more characters... exciting. All and all i totally loved this book it is a very good read.
