I absolutely love this series. Each book is a standalone, and each book I have read has the perfect amount of heat and humor mixed in to the contemporary romance novel to make it believable.
The way Lily and Nico met cracked me up. No spoilers here, but let's just say is was a wild case of mistaken identity! It pulled me in and I couldn't put the book down!
Lily battled with some self-esteem and self-image issues, along with major family issues, as many of us do, and it made her very relatable. Some of the things she said had me laughing out loud!
Nico was absolutely adorable. I enjoyed reading his transformation as the road trip progressed, and I really felt for him towards the end.
I enjoyed the cameos of other characters in the series, and I can't wait to read about Nico and Lily in future Clover Park books!!!

From laughing out loud to eyes filling, and chin wobbling.
I loved the chemistry between the Nico and Lily, and I felt heartbroken for how both of them had been treated.
Now I have to wait for the next book.
I need more Marino/Reynolds!
This was the first book by Kylie that had me shedding tears. I felt for Lily. Stuck in a loveless family and riddled with insecurities, I just wanted her to find her happily ever after whether is with a man or in a family. She is a big hearted girl who is just looking for someone to connect too. You know Nico is the right man for her when he shows her a great amount of patience when she presents her crazy agenda for their road trip. Nico is not without his own baggage. Emotionally scarred by a past relationship has him afraid of forming bonds with any woman. That is until Lily sneaks her way past his defenses.
Rev Me Up is a heart warming fun read. Kylie infuses her sense of humor in the heroine that I always enjoy reading and the men in Clover Park makes me want to pay it a visit. Do yourself a favor and pick up this great read.
I like the way the story starts out. Nico is waiting for a girl that his brother hooks him up with. When she gets there, he starts wooing her. Then he finds out that she's the wrong girl when the one that he was supposed to hook up with shows up. This earns him a slap, by both girls.
There is classic comedy in this story along the way to falling in love. The situations that happen along the way that get awkward and the bickering that ensues from expectations that aren't met by either person.
This story never leaves you bored. From beginning to end you want to find out what happens and who it happens to.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Rev Me Up?
I love the moment that Nico and Lily find out that they have matching tattoos on their backs. That whole chapter is so funny. I was really laughing hard at how they got to that point. Mostly because they didn't remember doing the things that were told to them later on.
Which character – as performed by Charles Lawrence – was your favorite?
I liked Lily's character alot. She was truly a genuine person, what you see is what you get. She didn't let money rule her or go to her head. She just wanted someone to genuinely tell her that they loved her for who she was, and not for what they wanted her to be or for her money.
If you could rename Rev Me Up, what would you call it?
I honestly can't think of anything to rename it. Nor would I want to rename this book. The title fits the theme of Nico through out the book perfectly.
Any additional comments?
If you hate being interrupted and get grumpy while reading should this happen....remember, they don't know what is going on through your earbuds so don't be too snappish at them when they do. Just hit pause. It will still be there when you get back, that's what rewind is for.
Charles Lawrence does an outstanding performance, and Kylie Gilmore went all out on this book. It really is a great read. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
Nico is a man who is only out for a good time, due primarily to his ex wife who crushed him.
Lily is the daughter of Nico's most influential customer who is always looking for love from her family.
Their cross country trip is full of comedic episodes and some hesitant baring of souls so to speak. You can see them healing and growing as they each learn about the other. There is a lot of laughter and tears.
This book is a great stand alone but trust me, you will want to read all of the books in the series!! You will learn the stories of the other characters who make cameos in each book and how they intertwine.
I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
From the opening scene (Which makes me laugh out loud. Ha!) I was hooked. I wasn't sure about Nico at first because he comes off as a player a little to me, but he quickly won me over. Lily is a heroine I could relate to. She's got her flaws, insecurities and quirks. She's a great match for Nico.
Rev Me Up Takes these two on a wild ride. There's mishaps, emotion, sizzling moments, and a lot of real things a reader can relate to. Not only does Kylie bring some moments that made me laugh, but she brings on feelings that I've felt in life myself, on many levels. I loved seeing prevous characters as well. Clover Park and its characters is a place I love revisiting over and over again. I'm eager for more!

Nico is the perfect book boyfriend and Lilly was so much fun and uncertainty rolled into one, how could you not love her. The way she sees the world is so fun and inviting, yet she pulls at your heart strings with the intensity that she craves family. Nico getting the second chance at love that he never thought he would really want and Lilly get the love and family in a big way made for an emotional roller-coaster. I loved every second of it and look forward to Luke's story
A hot guys and near virginal girl on a 2 week no strings road trip....what could possibly go wrong?! Such a great addition to the series! I can't wait to read more!
