Product Description

Winner of the 2013 Daphne du Maurier Mainstream Mystery/Suspense Award and the 2013 Maggie Award for Novel with Strong Romantic Elements.

A reclusive boss.
An unemployed pilot.
One devil in default.

When Brazilian gem dealer Maximilian Furst stops making payments on his fifty million dollar business jet, “Hawker” Dunlop, reclusive owner of a high-end recovery company, sends a resourceful team to Rio to repossess the aircraft.

Dunlop’s newest hire, ex-military pilot Amelia “Jet” Walczynski, has the perfect skills for infiltrating Furst’s inner circle and flying away the targeted plane. The assignment appears straightforward until Jet discovers Furst is a sociopath and knows she is after his aircraft. Her promised support team, a Greek lawyer avenging his brother’s death, a con man who sidelines as their scout, and a mechanic who paints her nails to match the country of operation, appear a hindrance rather than help. Jet finds it hard to play nice with her teammates when their private agendas put her life at risk. Yet, the closer she gets to Furst and the plane, the more she and her team will have to rely on each other to complete the repossession.

What a thrilling game of cat and mouse all to repossess an expensive airplane.

Amelia Jet Walczynski tough, smart, a loose cannon, thinks on her feet, can hold her own in most situations and she can also fly a plane, even with her fear of heights.

Gregorios Demos gorgeous Greek lawyer playing a dangerous game is he good bad or a mixture of both

Max not a man to be played with Max is super deadly when crossed Amelia better watch her back.

Lenny I love how Roxy calls Lenny 007 especially when he is described as a short round con man by Amelia lol to funny.

Roxy not your average mechanic, not your average anything, where Amelia is tall and athletic Roxy is short curvy and voluptuous with a sexy outgoing personality just begging to distract any man.
Graham Dulop the mysterious British boss sending teams out to repossess planes all over the world.

An expensive G5 plane, emeralds, sapphires and gems galore.

This book was thrilling from start to finish with a great bit of humour on the side, good strong characters I really enjoyed it.

5.0 out of 5 stars It takes a woman to set them straight 23 October 2012

With its fast-paced plot and quirky characters, I couldn't put this book down. I enjoyed the exotic Rio setting, the action and danger the repossession team is thrown into, and the smart, gutsy heroine, Jet. I'm so looking forward to the next story, OUTFOXED, to see how Jet gets the team out of the latest perilous predicament. Make sure you check out the sequel sample at the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Action and Aviation 23 October 2012

Repossessed has non-stop action from beginning to end. The aviation aspect is accurate and realistic, which as an aviator myself I can appreciate. As a reader, I love the world wide adventure and intrigue. I look forward to OUTFOXED, and hope there are many additions to follow.

5.0 out of 5 stars Repossessed - NOT a paranormal novel! 23 October 2012
By Cat Herder - Published on

Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Jet, female pilot and former military is bailing her mom, Red, out of yet another financial misstep--this time in Rio. Off to take back a Gulfstream V from a scary egomaniac into martial arts and intimidation, Jet finds herself an unexpected member of a team instead of her anticipated solo operation.
And what a team it is, from handsome Greek lawyer Demos to a quirky con-man hiding out from his past "pals" in the States, to a female mechanic with a few curves of her own, all run by a mysterious leader she only knows from phone conversations. This fast-paced book is sprinkled with humor and enough nerve-wracking moments to keep you turning the pages well into the night. It's clear the author knows her way around a flight deck, but doesn't bog the story down with too much technical talk. I can only hope this is the first of several books since the terrific characterizations make me want to spend a lot more time with this Repo team!

5.0 out of 5 stars High Flying Adventure 3 October 2012
By Lovemysteries - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Jet, the main character in Repossessed, is coming off a career in the military where she had trouble fitting in. More of an individual than a team player she's now working for a Repo company and is in Brazil to repossess a Gulfstream airplane. The story begins with a near shooting on the way from the airport and a dazzling hang glider ride. The research on flying and airplanes comes across as authentic and real. The quirky band of characters who are working with Jet to snatch the Gulfstream are well developed and fascinating. Roxy and her nail polish was my favorite. This is an excellent action adventure which will carry the reader from start to finish while Jet learns to play semi-nice as part of a team. It'll also leave the reader wanting another adventure.

4.0 out of 5 stars High speed trip around the world 3 October 2012

Reading this book, you can't help but imagine the scenes like frames straight out of a high-action movie. Every page is stuffed so full of action, the plot takes off faster than a jet off the ground. This novel is a great read, and it makes me want to hop into the next first class seat to somewhere exotic. I hope you enjoy this novel as much as I did! I can't wait for the next one, especially with the cliff hanger we're left with at the end of the preview...
