I read the first book, The Replacement Wife, probably 2 or 3 years ago and remembered that liked the book, but not Chloe. No idea why it's taken me so long to read this one, but I decided to check it out when I saw it while scrolling through my ever-growing TBR collection.
I had no love for Miss Chloe in the first book. Funny how I liked her almost immediately in this one. She was definitely a changed person. Or, as she said, she was finally free to be the real Chloe. Her girl Lichelle still needs some folks to pray for her, though, cause she is much too much.
