It was the first real expedition out of the solar system, a mission to investigate possible terraforming sites in some nearby star systems. The only real duties that I had were taking care of small bugs in the ship's code every so often and stargazing while everyone else was asleep.
Now that had all changed.
The ship was taken over by strange, massive, alien men that seemed to be focused on subjugating us rather than wholesale slaughter, I knew that much.
We would resist, we would make sure that we were rescued or that this ship would crash before it even touched the edge of their star systems.
But my plans are complicated by one of their commanders who seems to be especially interested in me.
He was impossibly tall, muscular, and was as arrogant as he was irresistable.
And as he towers over me, I understand that he was determined to "claim me".
We were to capture the ship, find the prince his mate, and that would be the end of it. Should we do that we would be allowed back into Rial.
But as I descend into the lower decks and discover this human female cowering under her bed, my motivations come into question.
She was soft, lovely, yet entirely uncooperative.
She was my mate. And I was determined to mark her as mine before we returned home.
This is a standalone sci-fi alien romance and the first book in the Rialan Captives series. It has NO cliffhangers, NO cheating, and a HEA.
