Product Description

Some fairy tales start after midnight.
The crown prince and I have nothing in common.

He's a rugged, battle-hardened soldier who spent four years in the Royal Guard, an elite military unit. I met the King and Queen for the first time wearing leggings and a sweatshirt.

He's the serious, quiet, straight-laced heir to the throne, and I accidentally got drunk at a formal dinner.

But there's the way he looks at me, eyes blazing with hunger. Like he knows every dirty thought I've had about him - and he likes them. There's the way my pulse skyrockets every time his hand brushes mine.

I'm the ambassador's daughter. I know better than to mess around with a foreign head of state.

But I don't know how long I can resist.

Not all princes are charming.

I spent years in the Royal Guard, our most elite military unit, fighting like hell so I could rule one day - not so I could give my father an heir with some well-bred rich girl.

I have a f*cking country to run. My love life can take a back seat. It's not like I've ever met a girl I had to have.

Until her. The ambassador's daughter. She's so... American. Lowborn, brash, wildly unsuitable... and gorgeous.

I'm disciplined, tough as hell, and I don't f*ck around. But I can't stop thinking about the way she laughs, about how she might taste. My father's threatening to strip me of my title if I touch her, but she makes me want to break every one of my own rules.

F*ck titles. F*ck rules. F*ck my father's threats. I want her. I need her.

She's mine.

Reign is a 90,000 word, 350-page, standalone full-length novel with some seriously steamy scenes and a happily-ever-after ending.

I hadn't ever read anything previously by this author, hadn't even heard of her before, but I one clicked it- a while ago, admittedly, and it just sat waiting until I read it. I just read it last night-( when I should have been packing for my son's school trip) and found the story wonderful. Somehow from the first page I was sucked into the story right to the end. It was funny, and hot and kept my attention without skipping parts. I loved it and recommend this story highly. I hope the author will continue with some of the secondary characters- the Princes friends, or perhaps Hazel's friends?

Reign by Roxie Noir was a fun ,fast -pace story ,but I do have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Roxie Noir has given us a story that has witty dialogue and characters that are quite relatable and interesting to read about. Kostya and Hazel are really an unusual couple ,him begin royalty and after all she's the daughter of an American Ambassador ,but boy do sparks ever fly between these two right from the start. Kostya's father has forbidden his son to see Hazel ,and at the same time threat to stripe him of his title. But from the first time he set eyes on her ,he has wanted to break every rule that he had set for himself. The best feeling Kostya has ever had was the feeling of defying his father .This story will grab you and hold you there until the very end ,and then will leave you wanting more from his author . I could tell you more about what happens to this amazing couple ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this story you won't be disappointed .

After a couple of months of backpacking around Europe after a scandal, Hazel has to meet her Mum and Dad in Sveloria. Hazels Mum is the American Ambassador there. After the train ride from hell where she's even been interrogated, she winds up meeting the Royal family wearing spandex. Kostya is the Prince of Sveloria, he is constantly disappointing his Dad because he has yet to settle down and create an heir. When he sees Hazel at the train station he can't work out why this inappropriately dressed girl is making him feel so weird. As the time goes on and the more they time they spend together they keep trying to hide their feelings, but failing miserably. Kostya's Dad forbids him to have anything to do with the trashy American girl. When everything goes wrong and Hazels scandalous past comes out, their world falls apart.
This was a fantastic book, Roxie has done herself proud. There was romance, drama, action and love scenes to make your toes curl. I absolutely loved it and if you've enjoyed Roxie's previous books, I'm sure you will too.
I received an ARC for an honest and fair review

3.5 stars.
Whilst this was a good story I struggled to finish it as it just seemed to drag along with lots of minor details. I lost interest and had to keep coming back to it. I cannot put my finger on why. The storyline was good, the beginning and ending exciting but I think I just didn't connect with either Hazel or Konstantine.
This is something new for this author and she has done a great job, just not my cup of tea for some reason, other readers will love it though.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
