Liam didn’t think he wanted a mate but when Tina pushes him away he realizes he wants her in his life for good and the reader can’t help but get pulled into the story as Tina and Liam find themselves in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions and sizzling desires. The attraction and chemistry between Liam and Tina is an instant inferno of heat and the sex scenes are scorching but with both of them needing to let go of the past and their fears, this relationship that is one heck of an emotional cyclone that grips the heart. The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes through all of the emotional turbulence, suspense and romance while these strong compelling characters entertain readers with their stubborn but enthralling personalities and their explosive romance.
The whirlwind of emotions in this story is a rollercoaster ride of tension all on its own and has fireworks exploding and passions erupting but there is a poacher using the Gray Packs hunting grounds for his own hunting and a rival is after Tina’s affections as well which spices up the story with spine tingling tension and excitement. The well-orchestrated events along with the gripping story ensures that the reader can’t put the book down while the well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life.
So far I have enjoyed every visit with the Gray Pack as each story is a compelling mix of suspense and passion with captivating characters that I can relate to and I am really looking forward to reading the next one.

Tina Jameson and her friend Caroline Trainor (see Caroline's story in "Fire of the Wolf") are rescued from a deranged werewolf by a group of werewolves from the Gray Pack.
Liam Gray is one of the wolves that rescue Tina and he knows that she is his mate. Both Liam and Tina have had heartbreak in their past and neither one wants to risk loving again. They are afraid that if they do allow themselves to fall in love, they would not be able to survive another tragedy.
Of course, once a wolf finds its mate... Well, there is no way that Liam can avoid claiming Tina!!!
This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Throw in an element of unknown danger for Tina and you have a great story on hand!!!
I am looking forward to the third story in the series "Legacy of the Wolf" which should be made available on Amazon either February or March.
Book 1: Fire of the Wolf
Book 2: Reflections of the Wolf
Book 3: Legacy of the Wolf
Liam Gray meets Tina helping out his cousin. He knows before he even sees her that this is his mate, he senses and smells her. Not so easy to convince the human Tina that werewolves exist and that they belong together. Liam isn't even sure he wants a mate. His first wife and child died and he is not over their loss. Tina's fiancé was killed and she is still not over him.
Drawn together by pure lust and the need to be together, they have to heal and allow each to move on from the past. She has to learn to accept that he is werewolf and the Pack ways. I loved this shifter story and seeing the struggle and conflict in the characters. Watching them hold back, when they are drawn together. Lori King allows you to know the characters and you can feel their emotions. Couldn't put this book down! Ready to meet more of the Gray Pack..
