I am really enjoying the plot as Marissa uses a crystal to disguise her voice, dresses like a man, and learns some combat. I loved how this book turned out and wanted to read more. Ready for the next book in the series!
A very worthy second in the series!Reviewed in the United States on 17 November 2015
This comes after "Reflection:The Stranger in the Mirror". The next one is due to come out in spring of 2016. Can't wait! The author does a good job of setting the stage, introducing the characters, and keeping straight good/bad and who is each etc. no confusion here just a great story continuation.

The second book further develops the characters from the first book & adds new characters with an intriguing story about 2 kingdoms & the search for clues to stop the impending doom. I don't want to give away too much about the book, & there is nothing cliché about the storyline. You cannot predict what happens which makes the book hard to put down. It is well worth reading.

Enjoyable. There is no reason for me to write twenty words in order to say what I thought about this short book. M
