For fans of Sons of Anarchy, Kristen Ashley, Madeline Sheehan and Joanna Wylde. New York Times bestselling author Katie Ashley revs up the danger and sexual tension in her Vicious Cycle biker romance series.

Looking for a walk on the wild side, Annabel Percy, the daughter of a powerful politician, starts dating a biker she knows is completely wrong for her. But she finds herself living a nightmare when she's kidnapped and transported into a hell on earth she never could have imagined.

Born and bred into the Hells Raiders MC, Nathaniel 'Reverend' Malloy lives and dies for his brothers. But when he becomes the unexpected savior of a rival club's captive, Rev makes it his personal mission to nurse Annabel back to health - and to shelter her from the nightmares that torment her.

Once Annabel heals, she's stunned to realize she is falling for the seductive man who saved her. Faced with their impossible attraction, can she accept the life he leads, or will Rev walk away from the only life he's ever known for the woman he was never supposed to love?

Want more sexy, gritty biker romance? Return to the dangerous and seductive world of the Hells Raiders motorcycle club in Vicious Cycle and Last Mile.

Another good book from Katie Ashley. The Vicious Cycle series is a great read, this book is far more intense than other books I've read as it deals with the gruesome reality of the sex slave industry. A great deal of the beginning focusses on the industry. Rev goes in to save one of his men's daughters who has been sold and instead finds a beaten up red head who he swears he'll protect and save. The scenes are confronting and nothing like I have read previously but two lost, broken souls being fixed together works well and is realistic and they find their way through their pain to love.

This was one surprising read, it has some really tough scenes to read for both main characters that simply make you the reader shudder to your core. Both Rev and Annabel need redemption, they find it with each other, in a way they rescue one another from the mistakes of their past that really are not their fault.

What I loved was the intense connection between these two characters and when Rev breaks his promise to her my heart split for Annabel and I was shattered and had tears in my eyes with her and just wanted to give her a hug. I wondered how someone like her can come from a family like she did, loved her affection for the animal kingdom.

Loved seeing the beautiful Willow again as that little girl took my heart in Vicious Cycle with her dad Deacon.

The physical scenes were passionate, sensual and erotic and again loved dual POV.

Again the whole family of the MC club make appearances and play their parts in Annabel's transformation from victim to survivor.

Only complaint was it felt slightly rushed towards the ending for me but I could not put this down.

Absolutely loved Vicious Cycle 1... could hardly put it down and gave it a rave review. I've waited in anticipation for the gorgeous Rev's story only to find it lacked the depth of V C 1. With Rev and Annabelle's tragic pasts, dangerous present circumstances and appealing personalities, there should have been a gripping connection. I wanted it to be there, I really did!

Further, the narrative seemed hurried, even abrupt. Other than Rev's back-story, the characters quickly 'moved on' from grievous, harrowing or heartbreaking situations without being given solid passages in the book to heal or reflect...you just don't get over stuff like that in such a short amount of time. There wasn't enough time allowed for the characters to disclose their inner-voice, allowing readers to gain insight or to take the characters close to our hearts.

So, sadly the book's plot, the flow of the narration and descriptive structure were elements that just missed the mark.
