I very much loved this story as tragic as any story can be if that story has no winners. It is only in recent times that history tells us that these air soldiers and all soldiers in WW1 did not know what they were fighting for but did their duty as best they could. Even the best died for the love their country and friends. Richard Fox has told us enough about the events during this terrible war to help us understand how useless the war was. Bloody very good reading about "The Bloody Red Baron"...thank you Richard...yes 5 star.

Manfred von Richthofen or better known as The Red BaronReviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2016
I'm not a history buff, but I love reading fictitious stories based on history, and that what this is, the life of Manfred von Richthofen who became known as the Red Baron through his exploits as Germany's flying ace during world war 1, I'm not sure how accurate the story of his life is in this book but it give you a fair idea of what the man himself was probably like.
ONE FOR THE WW1 BUFFS OR FLYERS - A GOOD READReviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2018
A good blend of fact and fiction from Mr Fox. An easily readable story of this famous flyer.
