Beam is superb, build quality and bracket less so

The light itself is superb. A much broader and brighter light that I have owned to date. For commuting, I only really need to use the second lowest setting to light even the darkest street. I liked it so much I ordered another for my other bike, but then started to have doubts. The bracket started to come loose and couldn’t be tightened, and the I started to have trouble sliding it into the quick release. Second one is OK so far, but I have only used it a couple of times. I may have to find some other way to mount them if it gets worse.
Also noticed one of the small screws on the back is missing. I wish I could recommend it as the light is so good and great value for money, but not sure how long it’l last.

This is the best bike light I have used, it has three brightness ranges which is excellent for when you just want oncoming traffic to know you're about and the brightest for night mountain biking when you want to see a long way don't the trail. The light has taken some real punishment and has withstood many big endos and tree hits. Unfortunately for me I left the light on my bike and washed my bike. No life dead as a doornail tried pulling it apart to dry it out but nothing has worked. I will be buying another one as I have liked this one so much. And yes the mount is a bit tricky but once you get used to it, it no longer will catch you out.

Good performance light

I went night riding for 2.5hrs and the light stayed on for that whole time on medium setting. I think there's still plenty of juice in the batteries to last an hour or two longer. The beam spread could be better as most of the light concentrates in the centre but still illuminates the sides just enough to see. The reason for the 4 stars is the bar adaptor clamp is a little too big and won't clamp on to my addon where i clamp my lights on. I needed to use an extra rubber strip on the clamp so it won't slip around. If you plan to install this straight onto your handle bar then it should be fine. The build is good, and operation is intuitive. No need to read the instructions. Overall it it a very good light for the price.

Function switch not reliable.

These lights have proven unreliable. This is the second one and this morning after charging it refused to switch to full light.Just dim and dimmer would work and I was forced to abort my ride. When later removed from the bike all functions worked twice but then the flashing modes failed to operate. I am returning it far a replacement and trust that the next one is from a different production batch.

Very durable- I didn’t clip it securely and it dislodged when I hit a bump at speed and It bounced along the road. A few small scratches on the body but still functioning. Sturdy and reliable if heavier than my previous light.
