Product Description

"The Serendipitous Curse: Reborn is seriously cool, and another winner for Aiden James! This time he teams up with the talented Lisa Collicutt--and what a fantastic team it is!" ~J.R. Rain, Bestselling author of Moon River and Silent Echo

In the heart of Savannah Georgia, lies Solomon Brandt Plantation, a spanking piece of suburban sprawl with a sordid past.

When an amnesiac bearing this cursed name stumbles into town, he’s immediately drawn to the haunted antebellum, and also to a Hoodoo practitioner who converses with spirits, and her gorgeous green-eyed niece.

Desiree McClinton, a descendant of the Brandt slaves, sparks emotions in Solomon, the likes of which he's never known. But curses run deep, and Solomon's crippling nightmares, seeping into real life, soon threaten their budding love.

Will Solomon be able to save Desiree from the evil that has followed him through time? Can a tainted soul truly be redeemed?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read 29 July 2013

I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Aiden James and Lisa Collicutt. Right away the book captured my attention and I read the book in two sittings because I wanted to see what would happen next. The book had a strong beginning, great character development, and great story to tell which is basically a fight between good and evil. I rate this book on all its positive aspects a "5". However, I would give it a "3" for the fact that it did not complete the story and it is obviously meant as a series. I do not mind reading a series, but I like it when each book is complete in and of itself, and the next book(s) is written to take the reader on the next adventure of the characters, rather than finish what the first book started. That is my only complaint. This is not a long book, so the complete story could have been told in one book.

5.0 out of 5 stars ANGELS, DEMONS, WITCHES & LOVE 2 January 2017

I really liked this box set so much that I finished it one sitting, I only stopped reading when I had to eat or take a moment. Having all three books in this box set meant that I just kept reading instead of looking for the next one especially since I the first book ends with a cliffhanger. The books all consist of 20 chapters, the characters are well drawn and the story is executed well. I read this book as one of my Kindle Unlimited choices and recommend it for adults due to the sex and violence that occurs throughout the trilogy.

In book 1 we are introduced to Solomon Brandt when he emerges naked on a white Arabian stallion named Excalibur after the pavement explodes. He has no memory of who he is nor does he know where he is; he does know that he is in pain, thirst and very hungry. Confronted by angry construction workers who are both threatening and demanding he takes off on Excalibur when the police arrive realizing that he is in danger even if he does not know why or how. After traveling through the woods for what seems like hours Excalibur leads them to a stream where they both slacken their parched throats and meet Melba. Melba is of African descent and is afraid when she sees a large, naked white man on a large white horse on her property but Melba isn’t as helpless as she seems and she has protection that although Solomon doesn’t realize it he desperately needs her protection.

Since I don’t want to give the entire story away I won’t go into any more details but urge readers to read the series for themselves.

4.75/5 STARS: **I read this novel using a selection from my Amazon Unlimited subscription; the review reflects my honest opinions.**

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad book, but it's a cliffhanger 5 July 2015
By James Plante - Published on Amazon.com

Not a bad book, but the conclusion of the story is left to the next book(s), which I will not buy. This book was available for free as an inducement to buy the rest of them. It was advertised as a complete novel, but it is the opening volume in a series, the rest of which must be purchased. Although the book was entertaining, the conflict resolution is deferred to the paid novels. So I guess "free" is a fair price. But I still feel swindled somehow, even though I got the book free. My interest wasn't aroused enough to pay for the rest of the books in the series.

Suggestion to the author: Resolve whatever conflict you created, cf. The Mummy. Then let your sequel develop additional conflict--different, but of similar or greater magnitude--with the same protagonist(s), cf. The Mummy Returns, a.k.a. "Oh, S***! He's back!". Then find another story line; no sense getting ridiculous with a third volume.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific story! Waiting for more!! 1 September 2013

I absolutely love this book. I wasn't quite sure if this was going to be my kind of book or not but the description had me intrigued!

This story starts off with a young man appearing out of nowhere, naked on a white horse. He has no idea who he is, where he's at or who all these townspeople are that are yelling at him. He's confused and scared. People are screaming to him asking who he is. Not sure what to say, he sees a sign with the words, "Solomon Brandt" on it. Instantly, the name feels right to him. It sparks a familiarity with the mysterious stranger so that's the name he gives to the angry mob. The people immediately begin laughing at him and suddenly he hears weird siren sounds in the distance. Having no idea what the sounds are, why everyone appears so angry, or what's going on, "Solomon" does the only thing he can think of, he takes off on his horse to escape this nightmare he became a part of.

Who is Solomon? How did he get there? Why doesn't he remember anything? Why doesn't he know how to preform normal activities like showering or using a phone? Will he get answers about his past? Will he find out how he got there?

You'll have to read this awesome book to find out!

Aiden James and Lisa Collicut did an exceptional job writing this story together. They did such an amazing job with the main character. I felt his emotions as he felt them. All of the characters are written very well and are all relatable. The story itself grabs you right from the first paragraph and is so entertaining, action-packed, and has so much mystery going on, it's difficult to put the book down.

They leave the story ending in a cliff hanger so, I can only assume that there's going to be a sequel. I'll be trying to wait patiently until that one is released.

Great job and congratulations to Aiden and Lisa for such an incredible story!! I look forward to reading other work from both of you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Engrossing story! 29 July 2013

When a strange young man suddenly appears on a white horse...naked...the story begins. Who is he and where did he come from? No one knows...not even him. He sees a sign with the name "Solomon Brandt" and tells people that is his name but people know that can't be possible because the real Solomon Brandt has been dead for hundreds of years with no descendents. Discovered by Melba, the owner of the land he is hiding on, deep in the woods...the story unfolds and the mystery of who this man is and where he came from comes to light. It is also the beginning of the terror from his past that is haunting him and those who are trying to help him discover who he is. With the talented writing team of Aiden James and Lisa Collicutt collaborating on this story it is sure to drag you in as it did me and immense you in detail and history with a story that will keep you interested. This is the first book in a series so the ending does leave you hanging and saying "No!" when you turn the last page on a cliffhanger but...it also leaves you eagerly awaiting the next book. I do not hesitate in recommending this to my friends and family and all who would like a well written and enjoyable story.
