Product Description

Eight years ago, Sophie gave her heart—and her virginity—to Zach Barrett on a night that couldn’t have been less romantic or more embarrassing. Zach’s step-brother, a steely-muscled, tattooed biker named Ruger, caught them in the act, getting a peep show of Sophie he’s never forgotten.

She may have lost her dignity that fateful night, but Sophie also gained something precious—her son Noah. Unfortunately, Zach’s a deadbeat dad, leaving Ruger to be Noah’s only male role model. When he discovers Sophie and his nephew living in near poverty, Ruger takes matters into his own hands—with the help of the Reapers Motorcycle Club—to give them a better life.

Living with outlaw bikers wasn’t Sophie’s plan for her son, but Ruger isn’t giving her a choice. He’ll be there for Noah, whether she wants him or not. But Sophie does want him, has always wanted him. Now she’ll learn that taking a biker to bed can get a girl dirty in every way…

An enjoyable read. I'd recommend this to readers who enjoy Madaleine Sheehan's series, but would prefer a bit less of the grit and darkness that she writes. Joanna Wylde has done a great job of remaining true to the reality of the MC lifestyle while also writing a story that I don't think would push any lovers of regular romance novels too far. I would definitely read more of the Reapers MC books. Hope Em's story is next to come!

I enjoyed Reaper's Legacy. When you read Ms Wylde's stories you get a well put together book. I've read a few different books now based around motorcycle clubs and the Reaper's series is the most moderate. Realistic without being over the top or gratuitously violent and it doesn't make them out to be perfect romantic heroes either.

The story between Ruger and Sophie was good but I didn't feel much of the romantic connection between these two. Sometimes it felt like they were only going to get together because of the sexual attraction (the sex scenes are hot) and because he had the money and skills to take care of her, not because of love. Not that the author didn't describe the love - she did - I just didn't feel it.

Sophie who has a young son has an aversion to the club and I felt the struggle between Sophie and Rugger over the club was well written and at times I got quiet mad on Sophie's behalf.

I do feel that the resolution of the story line was rushed.

Also, Ruger's house needs a mention, it sounded awesome - I'd love to live there.

I'd recommend reading Reaper's Legacy and the whole series. I'm looking forward to reading book 3, Devil's Game.

Sophie starts the story as a love smitten teen, and her sad tale of a teenage pregnancy starts.
This is a cleverly written story that really takes you through the struggles of a single mother.
She has grit.
Ruger is the biggest s*** in the state, and yet he's there for her and her son.
I laughed, held my breath. Have stayed up half the night to read it.

It gets gritty, grubby and messy.

Loved this book, it's characters and the MC/tribe vibe.

I was really looking forward to the release of this book. I got a big nervous that it wouldn't live up to expectations.
I need not have worried. It was excellent.
Love this series.
Only compliant it was too short and by that I mean I just love reading this author's work that if this story never ended it would still be too short.
Can't wait for the next book.
I recommend everyone reads this book.

This whole series suprises me one after the other. Had never read Joanna before but she is not on my go to list for a hot sexy read. The characters draw you in and you fall in love. The whole club culture is amazing and the loyatly within is amazing. Family does not have to be blood. I'd love to have friends like these who will always have your back.
