Great Real Estate Strategies and Easy to ReadReviewed in the United States on 10 April 2014
This book is very useful to understand many tax strategies on short term and long term gains; easy to read. This covers many areas of tax deductions. It does not get into details of all the strategies. The way I look at it – once I read this book, I could speak more intelligently to my CPA, plan better for my future real estate investments, think about tax strategies even before buying a new property etc. This book will not enable a layman to do their own taxes; you still need a CPA but the reader will be better equipped with tax strategies. Overall great value for the price and I would recommend it!

Should be marked as a beginner's bookReviewed in the United States on 30 December 2013
I suppose the book goes over some basic ideas of tax and estate strategies as they relate to real estate. However, I was hoping for a more in depth take on the subject matter. Perhaps this book is good for those who are need a basic lesson on the topics, but anyone who has a basic understanding won't learn anything new here.

OutdatedReviewed in the United States on 6 November 2015
This book is outdated. Lot of recent changes that are significant to real estate investing are missing. It's a great book, but most of it is no longer applicable.

Not a favoriteReviewed in the United States on 26 April 2015
I did not like this book and I read a lot real estate books. I usually really like them but I thought that this book had no real new information and was written very dryly....you could tell lawyers wrote this.
