Good book22 September 2013 - Published on Amazon.com
Nice read and a refreshing change for the hero to be a sports guy. As a new Englander I struggled with a factual error- Vermont ski country is not eight hours from the city. Overall I like the author and added all her books to my reading list.
A New Favorite3 May 2011 - Published on Amazon.com
Yes, this is a sports star & plane jane tale, but the witty dialogue and spunky characters just make it one you can't put down. There are some great steamy scenes too. This is one I may actually read again! I have to say that I agree with the other review that the ending is a tiny let down, but I loved the book so much that it didn't really bother me. I will definitely check out more from Debbi Rawlins.

Loved it!22 May 2011 - Published on Amazon.com
The characters were well written and you really got a sense of who they were. The dynamics between the two was a wonderful blend of smoking hot and tender affection. I read it more than once cause its so entertaining. The only complaint I have is wanting to know what happened next. Reading this author made me search for more of her titles.
Surprisingly good2 December 2010 - Published on Amazon.com
I was surprise at how much I liked this book. It's your regular sports guy meeting plain Jane kind of book but Nick was a very very sweet guy and Emily was refreshing. So Emily decides to take a vacation to NewYork on Thanksgiving weekend where she met Nick, a famous baseball player. They share a cab and had drinks later. She didn't know he was famous at first and actually thought that he was a hustler lol. So they decide to spend Emily's vacation together and the story goes from there but what I really like was how I really got to know who Nick was and who Emily was. It was all Nick/Emily time throughout the book. There was no jealous ex or big misunderstanding. What I didn't like and why I didn't give it a 5 star was that the ending ended too quick. It was a HEA but I wanted more of a big warm fuzzy hug instead of just a peck on the cheek.
