- The ambidextrous grip feels really natural.
- Light, doesn’t feel like it’s slipping out of your hand when you pick it up (claw grip or otherwise).
- Imperceptible latency. The optical switches in this mouse feel more responsive than any other mouse I’ve tried.
- Wireless. Again, imperceivable latency. When you go wireless you can’t go back.
- Long battery life, I’ve never run out of battery. Dropping it onto its magnetic charger at the end of the day/session feels premium.
- Bright RGB.
Cons:
- Scrolling forward/up on the scroll wheel has a bit of rattle/noise, however scrolling down doesn’t. This inconsistency is a bit irritating.
- It’s technically a four button mouse in my mind. The extra two mouse buttons on the right side output the same function as the left side. Razer Synapse software can somewhat change these functions, however the buttons retain their primary function i.e. back/forward a page on a website, even though the buttons are remapped.
- Razer synapse.
Note: Gimme a break on the cable management. It’s a temporary 2 month laptop setup.

Although Very pricy I know I'm never spending another cent on mice as I have the Ultimate and any improvements to performance will come from me and me alone.
Thanks you for helping me understand this Razer :)
disappointed with the shipping.
Jokes aside, I've been using a G Pro wireless for a year and I don't think I will ever go back. Probably the best wireless mouse in market.
The reason for 3 stars is I ordered the mouse with a charging dock but only the mouse came. I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller.

Second thing, Razer really needs to add more functionality to the dock. Yes, the dock and the mouse syncs with Razer Synapse when they are apart and it makes your desk setup look cool. However, you CANNOT change the colors of the dock and mouse while they are charging together. On one hand, its nice to see that you can tell the battery level through the dock/mouse glowing red/yellow/green, but because of the long battery life and quick charging times, I'd like them to make it so I can change the color of the dock while my mouse is charging. Having the color of the dock and the mouse out of my control sucks and its something I hope they address in a future update.
The fit of the mouse feels nice to my hand (Size M). Battery life is long. Charging is quick. When the mouse is off, the light turns off without a white outline so the mouse appears all black which is pretty cool. 2 buttons on each side of the mouse which is useful for some games. Not an infinite scroll wheel. Lightweight. Cool design.
Don't buy this at full price ($200) if you can, wait for a sale and pick it up for less (~$160).
EDIT: 5 -> 2 Stars. My replacement Viper Ultimate came in and at first it was perfect. 2 days later the creakiness crept in on the right button. I notice this every time I click down on it. You will notice it through the post-travel of the button, meaning that after you pass the threshold of the mouse registering your click, you are able to go a bit further which makes a grindy, creaky, and squeaky noise. In addition to this, the buttons will feel extremely mushy.
EDIT 2: 2 -> 1 Star. Amazon issued me a partial refund, meaning I got this mouse around ~110 CAD from 200 CAD. I thought I could tolerate it, but the button actually got worse. It feels more loose, you can HEAR the rattle getting progressively worse, and the button overall feels really, really bad.
EDIT 3: Got the RMA from Razer. Recieved the replacement within a week. This mouse is perfect now, and I love it. Was it worth the hassle? Who knows

I have been using the GMMK Model O since it came out (pre ordered) I have rather large hands ( 19x10) and Palm Grip.
Been using the Viper for 3 days
The model O is fantastic in most of its use. Low sweat since it has the honeycombs (lets your hand breathe)
Cable is nice but a bit on the large side, side buttons are easy to acces.
The Viper is similar in weight and shape. But i find the Viper is more comfortable for a palm grip, it fill up my hand a bit better and i get less cramping.
Texte is better on the Viper
Feeling is more premium
Clicks and buttons feel better.
Side buttons are HARDER to press on the Viper, because it's ambidextrous. It's not bad, just need a bit of getting used too (I mostly play FPS games so i use sides for Grenades / Melee attacks)
Pretty much impossible to press the right side buttons by accident (for lefties)
Skates are nice. Model O are a bit better.
Mouse has a memory, so you can adjust in synapse and delete forever. (It doesn't retain RGB settings without Synapse)
All in All, pretty good mouse. I also own the Nixeus Revel / Logitech G403 / Steelseries Rival 600
Out of them all, my Model O and Viper are my favorites.

What I like about the RVU
+ Light (almost too light for me personally)
+ Better texture than GPW.
What I dislike about the RVU
- Mouse feet are too thin so the base digs into softer/thick mousepads causing gliding inconsistencies.
- The left mouse button has a noticeable pre/post-travel causing it to feel mushy (apparently this is a known issue).
- Squeaky buttons.
- Ambidextrous means less comfort.
- Mouse feet are way too slick (even on control pads)
- Game-breaking sensor rattle on my unit.
- Overall QC is atrocious for a $200 mouse.
updated for 5/11/2020 - my unit now has sensor rattle. Binned.
I can't recommend this to anyone.

+ Very light
+ Optical switches (I purposely picked this in the hopes I would not get the double-clicking issue that seems to plague other Logitech and Razer models. I will never know if it would have been safe from them as I am returning this mouse.)
+ Easy to configure program. No fuss, just download Razer Synapse and set it up easily.
+ 4 extra buttons apart from the norm
Cons:
+ Not meant for small hands: This mouse is as long as the G703 I was using previously, which was intended for large hands. The Viper Ultimate goes one further and actually has the scroll wheel just a bit further to the edge than the G703. The result is that while I can easily still reach the scroll wheel on the G703, on the Viper Ultimate the scroll wheel is actually out of reach of my hand in a fingertip/ claw grip. I have to have my hand palming the arch of the mouse, fingers aligned at the outer edges of the mouse buttons, to easily reach the scroll wheel that is sooooo far away. Needless to say, my hand started aching after a while of this. It's doubtless not a problem for large hands, but beware if you have small hands.
+ Awkward placement of 2 of the extra buttons. The 4 extra buttons are placed snugly 2 on each side. For a right-handed person, this means that it is easy to accidentally press the 2 buttons on the right when you are just gripping the mouse. (For a left-handed person, it will be the opposing buttons on the left side.)
