These sound very good. Channel seperation actually works. For games knowing what direction the enemy is coming from these will do the job. The do come off a bit lacking in warmth compared to Steelseries or Astros.
They're comfortable, but they could be a bit better balanced as they will fly off if you're not careful. I had no issues using them with glases. Also, not as comfortable as the Steelseries Acrtis headsets.
Battery life is excellent. Didn't time it, but they should last near the claimed 16hours playtime. (much longer than your DS4 controllers). For something with such amazing battery life, the headset is pretty light. No issues wearing it for hours, but the cooling ear pads might be a better choice (sold seperately)
Mic quality is also very good, doesn't match the Steelseries, but still does a good job. Doesn't have noisy feedback when you need to adjust it either. Also like the Steelseries, the mic lights red to let you know it's muted.
There is an terrible design issue where mic volume dial controls only YOUR mic level instead of changing the game/chat level. That's really disappointing, not to mention illogical. You can easily change your mic level via the PS4 but lowering the volume of noisy party members is MUCH more important.
Despite what the manual says, mic monitoring does NOT work on PS4. If you really need a headset with that, look elsewhere.
Games tend to leave a loud 'pop' when you exit. Along with the startup and other beeps are loud and annoying.
Hoping those issues can be fixed via a firmware fix from Razer, but their support is terrible.
PS4 setup in the user manual is WRONG. To get surround sound, you MUST set your PS4 to Optical Out/Dolby Digital/5.1, and NOT LPCM. (LPCM only supports 2 channels via the optical output). Setup is also a bit flakey. To get everything setup had to turn off the headset, restart the PS4 (with the USB in), and then turn on the headset after it rebooted. Your results may vary.
Pros:
Excellent surround sound (for headphones)
Great battery life
Comfortable
Good digital mic
Price - for the 7.1 version not the "Ultimate" version (which doesn't even charge your headset while on the stand, you still have to plug it in)
Cons:
No party/game volume mix
Mic monitoring does not work
Razer support
No other inputs like BT or line in.

No issues so far and they do an excellent job with noise cancellation. I have to shout at him loudly when I want his attention so don’t count on hearing the doorbell or your phone ringing.
I am not an audiophile so I don’t have much to comment on sound style per se but I have worn them myself and they sound great to me. The black is crisp with no excessive parts. The retractable mic is a really nice feature. They look like typical “gamer” headphones.
In terms of size and fit, I dislike how thick they are. They look huge on me, on either side of my face (female, 5’3”, average face and weight), and they look proportionate on my 6 foot, 230 lb partner.
The ear cups are a little too round as they touch the edges of my ears, so if you have bigger ears then these might not be for you. The pleather material is still soft and doesn’t catch all the lint and fuzz like their velvet counterparts tend to do.
Because of their closed back nature they do get hot and uncomfortable over time so my partner tends to use these in 8 hour bursts. Great for extended gaming session but all the time use.
The braided cable is a nice feature with a comfortable length (just longer than an average arm’s reach), but the controls with the volume wheel on the cable seems a bit flimsy. The wheel is smooth scroll despite having small notches in it and it’s jsut a personal preference that we wished it had increments that were set in place.

These have a much better build quality. The audio, while not being customizable, is pretty good out of the box. It sounds balanced, and not too bass heavy. That might be a negative for some.
They are super comfy though, I've worn for 2-3 hours and only notice them a little. Steel series arctis is still the comfiest.
Connection set up is easy.
Mic quality had been good.
I do recommend these for any one looking for a comfy, no hassle headset for your ps4.
