Is the physical part any good? Yes. If you MUST express your personality with RGB leds, here is your mouse. If you want to use your computer hassle-free and maybe play a game later, there's simply no reason to go with this. I'm finding a different mouse.
I'm so sick of every little device being strapped with overzealous software trying to get in the way of the original intention of the device. It even has something called Razer Softminer as a sister app it tries to get you to download and of course it will make Razer money mining god knows what using your system resources and you get "Razer Silver" points for screwing you.
This would be a perfectly fine product if not for all this crap.
Won't be getting a Razer product again.
I bought the mouse 57 days ago and it went bad. Nothing changed, just was using it and all of sudden it stopped working and would come back on and off intermittently. I tried on my laptop (among other steps) to make sure it wasn't my computer and the same thing happened.
Besides all the fancy schmancy things this mouse can do the most basic aspect is point and click. If a mouse can't even do that, then there's no point. At 60 days for a $50+ mouse that's just unacceptable. Before people start asking me to troubleshoot (which I did), the point is I shouldn't have to after such a short period of time.
Thankfully amazon has been amazing (as usual) and has refunded me the money. The unfortunate thing is I replaced a g903 with this because I was having the infamous right click issue so now I'm back to square one trying to find a decent gaming mouse that I can actually use as.... a mouse.
The right side buttons are back a bit more than on a lachesis, so if that's what you're replacing, keep that in mind. I am sure I will adapt in no time. Great response, nice to have multiple color options this time around and it matches my nzxt razer tower now :)
If, like me, you are used to the lachesis low profile, then this will not cause any issues. The slight upcurve on the LMB/RMB does not exist here, which I did enjoy, but it is still a lower profile, easy palm fit, with no changes in it's curve placement over the lachesis. It does wonders for arthritic gaming :)
The reason I LOVE razer is simple. While most people with issues will act entitled and complain, when I had an issue in 2014 with my mouse I went directly to razer. Razor not only replaced mine, but since it was no longer made, upgraded me, saving me 40.00 on top of my initial purchase. All of this on TOP of not having my proof of purchase from 2 years earlier. The ystand by the product, not the sales ticket and I respect them for that and I will continue to buy their products
previous mouses, habu, death adder, mamba, mamba te, zowie ec1-a
with these index finger humps in the way with these previous mouses, it would not let me flick to the right with ease and also cause pinky strain. probably just me
using on a razer firefly mousepad
