This mouse is advertised with rubber side grips and to be a razer mouse, but when I opened the beaten razer packaging, it turned out to be what I would consider a $2 entirely plastic mouse that you could get at the dollar store. Would not recommend unless you feel like paying $60 aud for something I wouldn't even consider using (I refunded and went straight back to my old broken mouse).

Man this mouse was so good, its a real shame as this is the third or fourth Razer mouse i have owned that basically was defective out of the box. After less than a week of owning it the left clicker basically decided it wouldn't register my inputs for 5 or 10 seconds at a time rendering it basically useless.

If you get lucky and your mouse isn't screwed out of the box or faulty within 2 weeks you will love it and it even worked great with Black Ops on my PS5 however, given that the whole premise of owning a mouse is to own one that is able to left click without failure I am going to have to give this a 1.

Would be a perfect fingertip grip mouse, except...

I have an 18.5cm x 11cm hand, and have always tried to fingertip grip any mouse I used. I've tried buying larger mice and palm gripping them but I always miss the "flick-ability" of smaller fingertip grasps. The DA V2 mini is just about the perfect size for my fingertip grip, being a lot smaller than most "mini" mice on the market. The top and side buttons are in 100% the perfect spot, the scroll wheel is a little further back than I'd like but nothing I can't adjust to. The 3M grip tape that's included is a unique and interesting touch that actually helps quite significantly.

My only complaint is the cord. Compared to the DeathAdder V2, it just feels cheap. It's thicker, the mesh is looser, it slides up and down the wires inside it and stays kinked. It is a MAJOR step back from the standard DeathAdder V2 cord, which was just about perfect. Why was this something that was even changed??

Got this for a birthday and would suggest. The only problem is I think for 50 dollars you should be getting more than 2 side buttons. The mouse other than that works well for small and big hands. You can butterfly and jitter click on it. The led is really nice and lights up great. It hasn't got dirty yet after a week of using for around 3 hours a day. Was also really easy to download the software with the mouse :)

I got the white version of this mouse for my laptop and compared it to my death adder v2, it's pretty much identical apart from no dpi buttons which isn't a big issue and the sides do have rubber but a little plastic area in the middle which is probably to cut down on cost. I got this mouse for $27 with free shipping which is an excellent deal and I couldn't recommend it anymore for general use or for gamers on a budget.

Esta opinión tiene importancia dependiendo quién la lea. Si eres gamer, eres profesional o alguien que simplemente quiere un mouse bonito.

Características:
-El mouse es grande, yo al verlo en la foto pensé que sería pequeño, pero no, es grande, si tienes mano pequeña posiblemente lo sientas incomodo, pero nada a lo que no te puedas acostumbrar.
-No tiene ajustador de DPI, ya que este es el Essential, es el mouse de gama baja/entrada que tiene razer. Sin embargo, puedes ajustar el botón del scroll (la ruedita se puede presionar y hace click) para ajustar los niveles de DPI ya que yo en lo personal, uso los botones del pulgar (los laterales) para otras funciones.
-Estéticamente es muy bello, tanto el logo de Razer y el scroll prenden de un color muy hermoso, me estoy enamorando de las cosas blancas y este mouse es muy bonito.

Ahora bien, dicho lo anterior, van mis sentimientos encontrados y la parte "negativa".

Yo uso a la par de este, un Logitech G502. Este lo compre porque estuvo en oferta en $499. Lo compré principalmente para jugar videojuegos, busqué por todos lados y en ningún lugar dice que tipo de SENSOR tiene. Razer en su pagina oficial presume un "SENSOR DE 6200 DPI" ¡¿Pero eso qué?! ¡YA BASTA DE PENSAR QUE UN MOUSE SE PUEDE VENDER POR LA CANTIDAD DE DPI! es el sensor lo que importa. Yo no conozco a nadie que use mas de 2000dpi ni para trabajar/navegar o jugar.
Investigando por mucho tiempo, descubrí que parece ser tiene un PIXART 3329 o PIXART 3328. No tiene 3360 ni el famoso 3389.
El mouse a la hora de jugar, se comporta bien, aun que no diga que tipo de sensor tiene, funciona bien para juegos, tiene un frecuencia de 1000hz, algo RECOMENDABLE en todos los mouses. En pocas palabras, funciona perfectamente para juegos, no noté ninguna diferencia al g502.

Por ultimo. LOS CLICKS.
Este mouse tiene el click izquierdo y derecho DEMASIADO FEOS, es una sensación de mouse barato, pero de esos que venden en $200 de logitech. Sinceramente el sentirlo, se siente mal, de baja calidad. Hoy en día los mouses duran de 20 hasta 50 millones de clicks, este se vende como "10millones" algo, sencillamente bajo. Tanto por la cantidad de clicks que soporta y por la calidad que se siente, dudo que te duren mas de 1 año.

Conclusión:
-Si el mouse lo encuentras en menos de $500, compralo, es un buen mouse y mas si eres agarre de PALM GRIP. Pero si lo vas a comprar porque es Razer y vale $800 O MAS! definitivamente NO LO COMPRES. Vete por un G203 de logitech. Tiene mejor calidad y un buen sensor.

Gross overreach by Razer - Surrender your data privacy through this mouse

Do your research carefully before you buy this mouse. In order to configure the mouse, you have to use Razer's Synapse software, which forces you to surrender all your data privacy through its disgusting EULA (End User License Agreement). Before you can use Synapse, they force you to register and create an account with a valid email address, phone, etc. They will collect all data not only around your usage of this mouse, but also what software you have/used, how often you use them, (and who knows what else they will collect) etc etc.

Moreover, Razer Synapse itself is a bloatware which consumes your PC's processing resources while it's running in the background. Synapse also has questionable security posture. Can it be exploited by malicious hackers or software? Does it make your computer less secure? This is unclear. All we know is that it's there to collect your private data and 'phone home'.

In summary, I think this data collection practice is a gross over reach which we consumers should not tolerate. There are many fantastic gaming mouse products and brands out there that do not overreach when it comes to user data privacy. We should support those companies.

Nicely designed mouse with Razer build quality

Now depending on how experienced you are with tech and peripherals, you could read 'Razer build quality' in different ways. To clarify, it's not great.

The actual mouse design itself is wonderful, it fits perfectly in the hand, is very lightweight for the size and the braided cable has minimal drag. It also syncs nicely with Razer's Synapse software allowing you to customise the buttons, adjust the sensitivity and alter the brightness of the LED lights. Strangely it also allows you to reduce the poll rate from the standard 1000 to 500, and I can't think of any conceivable reason why someone would want to do this.

And big kudos to them for making their product in white for those of us with white desktop aesthetics. It's a really stylish, sleek looking device that walks that line between minimal and gamer device well.

However, it wouldn't be a Razer product if it didn't come with some sort of build issue, and in this case the mouse wheel squeaks. Not constantly, but often enough to be noticeable and very annoying. The mouse wheel itself rotates smoothly and I haven't experienced any performance issues but the squeak, oh the squeak. I will be taking apart soon and attempt to fix but it's just a disappointingly typical experience when buying Razer peripherals.

Bought it as it looked the same as my last Death Adder that i have had for a few years but when it arrived there was no rubber side grips on it as advertised only hard plastic on the sides which i found to be not as comfy as my last one so be aware of this and all the writing underneath was in Chinese which i found to be strange as my one has all the writing in English.

Been an owner of the Deathadder 2012 for many years now and it finally gave up on me so I decided to purchase as it was identical to the original but at a very good price.

Everything is the same except the side grips are not rubber like advertised, they are instead the same plastic coating as the mouse which isn't as near as comfortable or easy to grip as the rubber ones. Very disappointing.
