So, where to start is the question. First, the visuals are the best especially on the PS5, one thing you notice is how it transitions so Dam smooth compared to the 2016 ps4 remake. Second, the PS5 controller options. Now for context this was my first Ps5 game I ever played but it gave you the option for almost anything, adaptive triggers, custom vibrations, the whole lot! It was an experience and such a great starter game! Last, the story! Now I haven't played many of the games but in terms of story, it ties in well with the ps4 adaption of the game! God I swear.... highly recommend this piece of art seriously! I do have one issue relating to the price being a bit high but apart from that it's honestly the best game to get started on the PS5. It gives you a feel of what it's like!

Ratchet and Clank - Rift Apart. Put simply - an amazing game!
I’m an old school gamer and have played every Ratchet and Clank game available, so as soon as I heard about Insomniac releasing a new game and possibly a new Ratchet and Clank series, I was intrigued. However, being on the new generation of consoles (PS5 in this case), I didn’t hesitate to pre order. With the greatest anticipation, the day finally arrived with a small golden package delivered to my door. As quick as a flash the game was installing into my PS5. As soon as it was available, the game was up and running. Boy, was I not disappointed! To say the graphics were amazing is simply an understatement. Words can not describe the joy that took me back to my teenage / early adult years seeing Ratchet and Clank again in full glory - along with some old and new characters. The story is amazing and flows perfectly - as perfect as the graphics are! (It would be beneficial if you played the previous games first as it gives a lot better context to run into this new series). There are a slight number of glitches and you will only get these if going to the very edges of each map, but hopefully future patches will amend these.Hopefully more games are produced after the success of this game (whether with Ratchet/Clank as the main characters or having spin-off series).I would definitely recommend this game to everyone.

Have played every Ratchet & Clank game, including this latest instalment which doesn't disappoint. Gameplay is next gen and action packed. Graphics were incredible too. If you have a Playstation 5 this is a MUST play. My only gripe is that Mr Zurkon (weapon from previous R&C titles) didn't make a feature this time round. And a thought for the future; It would be incredible if this could go open world like Zelda BOTW.
