I was given an ARC by Net Galley and the publisher for an honest opinion.
Well , Joanne Fluke has delivered another episode filled Hannah Swenson's Recipes and also her deductive skills in solving murders. This book also has newly wed Hannah without her new husband in tow. Ross has somehow walked out the door and DA DA Da DAAAAA disappeared. You have to wait till the very end for Mike to reveal to Hannah and the many fans just where Ross has disappeared to. Hannah also has the usual murder to solve with the whole town and the employees of the local bar, inn and television station giving her information. The usual regulars of Norman, her sister Angela and her mother and of course Mike do some of the investigation. I found this story somewhat questionable in some parts as I usually do but forgave Joanne Fluke as not only does she tell a good and enjoyable story but she includes some lovely delicious recipes for the reader to try and enjoy. I recommend this book to all Joanne Fluke fans and other who love a bit of a mystery.

for those of us who don't like Ross although we still don't know how it will all work out.
The story in this one is quite strong so whilst I wouldn't describe it as a return to form it was good enough to make me buy next year's offering.

This series gets more mundane as they go on. I would recommend the author to finish now or reread her 1st one to try to the oomph back
