Absolutely amazing. A-MA-ZING.

Ramatel is the main character who is really angry and grumpy. After being in Hell for seventy generations, his feelings are understandable. He's pretty angry at God for that, too. When he gets Clara as his chinfon to look after he's even more annoyed.

While Clara is there to save her sole she's not sure how to do that. Having Ramatel as her chinshen was not helping her either since he clearly didn't want her around and was not going to help her out. Even though Ramatel hoped to get rid of her and ordered her to do menial jobs Clara became a fighter. She was really good at that.

The author's expressive and emotional writing brings this story to life in a huge way. The fast-paced action kept me on my toes while the explosive chemistry between the characters ratcheted up the heat of the novel by several notches.

If you like romance - paranormal or not - you've got to read Ramatel's Vow. It's so much more than just a romance story. There's fighting, sex, danger, intrigue, and passion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow. Just wow!!! 14 February 2017

So considering I didn't read the first book in the series and I'm not normally a paranormal girl, I absolutely loved this book! The book begins and Ramatel finds himself in charge of looking after a young girl, Clara. He's not exactly too jazzed by this prospect either and it shows. But Clara is smart and is prepared to do whatever she has to do to save her soul on earth. Ramatel has a chip on his shoulder, especially about women. How will this translate to his relationship with Clara?

Clara learns how to fight and eventually she faces some demons of her own... even a super sexy one. Eventually Ramatel discovers how what an amazing fighter Clara is and brings his little chinfon along to fight some more demons. But was this a mistake?

This was an action packed, fast paced, fun and sexy story that I couldn't put down. The story flowed seamlessly and you really got a feel for what these characters were going through. Crofoot's incredible world of angels and demons sucks you in and doesn't let go until the very last page. I fully recommend this book for anyone who is a fan of paranormal and erotica. Very nicely done!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!! 8 March 2017

This is my first book, I believe, by Joel Crofoot, and I have to admit, I love it. I like the writing style, the well-developed characters, and the way the author had them interacting with each other. I don’t particularly care for demons and angel books but I was able to get so immersed in the story that I was able to forget I was reading about demonic angels. That Ramatel is indeed the angel of endurance. I like the tension between Ramatel and Clara and even though I knew the outcome was inevitable, the build up to it was half the thrill. I read the book in one sitting, and for me that’s saying a lot. This is my first book, I believe, by Joel Crofoot, and I have to admit, I love it. 5.0 out of 5 stars Just as Exciting as Book 1 25 March 2017
By Doug Simpson - Published on Amazon.com

This is Book 2 in a fantasy series about Angels and demons and once again features the famous Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The Angels and demons take on the appearance of humans but retain their superpowers. The author has once again been very imaginative in creating a suspenseful story with many surprises. Her research into the names of Angels and demons has been quite impressive causing this reader to wonder once again just how much truth has been included in this fictional story. I will admit that Book 1 was my first read in the world of Angels and demons, and I was a little skeptical at first as to whether I would enjoy it but I found both books quite enjoyable. I hope she gets Book 3 out soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's A Thin Line Between Love and hate 12 February 2017

I enjoyed reading the second installment of the series. The story follows one of the fallen angels named " Ramatel" who walks around with a huge chip on his shoulder. Having a woman drop in on him unannounced, just ticked him off even more. Trying to get rid of her rather quickly, Ramatel is told by his brother "Gabriel" YOU'RE STUCK WITH HER....So acting like a "big-bad-guy" he goes and tries to do all he can to make Clara see how terrible of a person he is and she should stay clear of him.....GET REAL!!!

The author does throw a twist in, with the two somehow finding a bit of an attraction to each other. For some odd reason when I read this series, I kept hearing the song by the Persuaders " It's a thin line between love and hate" play constantly.
Throughout the book, I ran into Michael, Jahi, and the 3 Angeling's: Butator, Liwet, and Hamal. Also, I met Anachel but she is another mystery...SHHHH OOps guess you have to read the book.

Overall, it was an awesome read and I enjoyed it and I can't wait to read book 3....I have to find out what's the deal with Anachel and Gabriel...

Pick up this book and read it. you will LOVE every page of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll be anxiously awaiting the next book in the series 21 February 2017

I really enjoyed Joel Crofoot's, second book in the series of angels. I haven’t read the first book in the series but for those of you wanting a great read, it was easy to follow without reading the first book and this author’s descriptive writing style really drew me in and kept me hooked. I couldn’t peel myself away, needing to know what happened next. I kept reading long after I’d told myself I was stopping for the night. Ramatel’s Vow was magnificently written. There was this really cool unpredictable mounting tension between the two main characters that continues to build in a titillating sensually thrilling way. I absolutely adore witty banter. Crofoot has created awesome chemistry between these characters. The book brings you along on a journey with a tainted overly cautious heart and a willing one. It’s a story you won’t want to close and put down to go to sleep. Way to go Joel Crofoot! I'm a fan!
