There is a fine line between the Divine and the Damned…
Michael’s magic is no longer the darkest power breaking down Lucifer’s defenses. Already unbalanced and weak, the Devil finds out nothing is what it seems. Lies, betrayal, and manipulation destroy what little composure he has left and the result is nothing short of total devastation for everyone.
Gabriel must confess or his guilt will devour what’s left of his heart.
Uriel must face his demons or his courage will crumble to dust.
Constantine must thaw his soul before he loses all reason to exist.
Lucifer must get out of Hell and find balance or he’ll die before he’s had the chance to live.
And she must come forward and claim her place in this world or all her efforts will have been for nothing…
Will Lucifer and his pack overcome the damage they’ve done, or is it already too late?
Raise the Dead is Book 8 of the Hell Hound Harem series and Book 2 in the third trilogy.

We jump feet first into this second instalment of the Hell Hounds Trilogy of Lucifer’s Harem. I’d like to say the author gives us some breathing space along the way. But this ride, the journey, the battles, the lust, the steam, the fractured relationships and emotions all blend to make this book a page turner that you will not be able to put down.
If you can catch your breath as we are tossed headfirst kicking and gasping into the danger that comes with the heartbreaking trials involved in the formation of the truly fated pack that is Eve, Lucifer, Gabriel, Constantine and Uriel, then you are made of strong stuff indeed.
The steamy scenes in this book are next level and the final scenes of unification that bring this Angel Harem to the pinnacle of blissful and pure oneness is nothing short of heart stopping.
There are some hugely descriptive fight and torture scenes and the gore levels can be a bit confronting when you’re reading a love story, but the necessity of this gruesomeness is IMO absolute. We could not feel all the emotion of this roller coaster ride without them.
Well written and executed as we would expect from this author who’s storytelling technique leaves us without any doubts in her ability to reach into our souls and cage our hearts. We can only hope that she is merciful in her completion of this final story arc for this Hell Hounds Harem Series…
Again, the usual warnings for sex scenes, RH themes (including MM) and blood and gore. I gave this book five stars!

5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.
4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.
3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.
1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .
I will say that I feel sorry for Lazarus since he can't say anything to change the future that he knows is going to happen. I can't imagine the weight he has to bear....I'm glad Lilith finally made her own way. However, I wonder what else she is up to?? Is she faking it or really under Michael's power?? There are many points in the book that I loved and will say hated at the same time. Hated only by what they all had to endure. Lucifer, Constantine, Gabriel and Uriel all suffered in their own ways. Lucy is so damn sexy! He is a real sweetheart to. He has given up so much for all and I feel he is not getting the appreciation he deserves. I know they will find peace but I also hope Lazarus find his as well. I will say the ending was a real kicker.....he is still alive!!! I won't say who but was surprised. Just not sure how he is after all this time.
And little Evelyn...what will she become? Hmm....
I had a feeling I knew who the dark angel would be and I’m glad to see I was finally right. This author always manages to throw me off with her twists and it seems like my theories are never right. I cannot wait to read the final book of this trilogy so EVERYONE can have their happy ending, unless the author allows her world to end 😭😭😭
