read in feb but only put review on goodreads so now updating - this was the story I had been waiting to read ... have loved Diesel from the very start and his book is everything and more. the writing is brilliant, the story is brilliant, the characters are perfection and the emotions are strong, powerful and beautiful.
I could not stop reading from the very first word ... but ... the ending floored me ... I almost think if I had known the ending I would have waited for the release of the next book before facing it. I'm not one for cliff hangers like that and waiting for the events, resolutions, et al is going to be agony for sure.
nevertheless this is definitely one of the best books I have read so far this year (even in oct - this is still true)

This series is incredible!

This is not a book written for gay people to read because it's mm. Honestly tge series starting with becoming his slave is one of the best I've ever read! Being neither gay nor into the lifestyle makes not one difference with this amazingly erotic, rich and extremely well written series. Utterly facinating and powerful the convoluted and intricately woven story lines are to die for. Seriously you have to read this series but start at the beginning with becoming his slave, give yourself time off work and tell your friends to leave you in peace whilst you spend the rest of the series salivating!

Thank you, Twins!!! Dominion of Brothers!!!

There is only so often that a book comes along that will make me run the gambit of emotions. This is one of those stories. I'm not one to tell much about a story but in this one I will say, you will laugh, cry, yell, scream and there will be lots of "WHAT THE #@&%!?!" moments.
It is no secret that I have been in love with the Dominion of Brothers series from the first book. These stories take root in your soul and don't let go.
There is no denying the love between the characters or the things they would do for each other or the people the hold dear. Diesel has a plan to get the one person can calm his beast. Paris is the Imp/Fallen Angel that can do just that bust doesn't trust they the things he feels. The man of every woman's (and some men's) fantasy, the Dominus himself, Trent Leos has plans of his own for his brother. The mouse is the proverbial glue that holds them all together.
Talon has given us a story of the ages. One that when you pick it up you won't want to put it down. The varied scene, sexual encounters, arguments, back and forth banter descriptions make one feel as if they were on the pages. A few times I wish I were.
As always with the Dominion of Brothers series I was left wanted more but this one more so. When reaching the last page I almost threw my kindle across the room as tears fell. I can not express how much heart and soul went into these characters, this series, and you feel every last bit of it. From the love Patronus has for his Imp to the love and devotion the brothers have for each other.
If you have not read the Dominion of Brothers I want to know what you are waiting for! This is a series that I will read over and over and over!

I can't breathe

Since the very first book where we meet Diesel I have been hooked. Diesel, a.k.a Patronus, is a strong, caring compelling character. He is fiercely loyal to his band of brothers almost to a fault. This book finally sees Diesel going for what he wants, putting himself first claiming his own Life Slave. If you don't know what that is you're just going to have to read the first book to understand.
This is by no means a stand alone book. In order to understand the intricacies of this story you must know the back story of the characters and how we find our characters where they are in this chapter of their lives.
This book has left me breathless. The ending has me tearing at my hair wondering what happens next. Talk about a Cliffhanger!!!
Trust me it is soooo worth it.
The majority of these books are MM relationships. If these types of books are not your cup of tea please don't buy them. That said this book is MM as well as MF.

This is my go-to series for BDSM
Reviewed in the United States on 5 October 2016Verified Purchase
I have been waiting for this book for a year now. This is my go-to series for BDSM that I discovered with the Amazon “if you liked this book then you might like this book” option. Most of my friends would be more than happy to let you know that I am NOT a patient person…I want what I want when I want it! Waiting for this book about the “Brother” I wanted to finally get his HEA was not an easy time for me but I must say…IT WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT!!!
This book is packed with so much action, for those of you that desire Alpha Males in action, defending what they know is right and protecting the ones that they love, you get it in spades! Oh, and there is scorching hot sex! MM sex, MMFM ménage sex, (warning: some mf sex), sex on an island that is designed for exhibition and play. But, the sex is NOT gratuitous sex, it is essential to the story and the development of the characters and their relationships. This is a BDSM D/s novel. I believe, no I know, that this series is “The Series” that I judge and base all BDSM books on. When I look at Dominus Trenton Leos and Patronus Diesel Gentry, I know that these are men of honor, who do not take their roles lightly in the world of BDSM and the Lifestyle that they live and thrive in. It is ingrained into their makeup to protect, not only that Lifestyle but the ones, namely Katianna Dumas and Paris Dalqeaute, that they love with all their heart and soul. They just have to make it happen so they can have a “happily ever after” with them. I love all four of these amazing characters and the transformation that occurs in each of them. With Trenton and Diesel’s upbringing, I couldn't have seen this book go any other way. For Kat, I love that, even though she always seems timid and terrified, except when she is messing with her men. But, in truth, bearing on what all she has been through, I find her much stronger than I would have thought. For Paris, I simply love his “fallen angel”/imp/brat personality and obviously so does Diesel. And, he is the perfect friend for Kat, to round out the dynamics. These two characters are needed to make Trenton and Diesel remain who the are, the protectors and Alphas.
This is not some light, fluffy love story. This book is packed with suspense, action and, on occasion, violence. But it also lets you see into the internal workings of how these two men work so hard to obtain and keep their life goals. There are so many twists and turns to keep you on your toes and guessing in this book that I literally could not set it down once I got it. The fabulous writing swept me up and into the story and kept me riveted to the book. My only problem, remember I told you I desire instant gratification and want my needs filled immediately, is that I need the rest of the series STAT!!!
This is a need to read series that simply keeps blowing me away and leaves me craving more!

It isn't much of a secret that I love The Dominion of Brothers series
Reviewed in the United States on 30 January 2016Verified Purchase
It isn't much of a secret that I love The Dominion of Brothers series, and while my heart will forever belong to Trenton Leos, there is still room for Diesel. The wait for his story was well worth it. It's a lengthy tome, but there is much to be accomplished, including some unexpected events, all of which lead to future stories in the series, I'm certain.
Diesel is a commanding figure, in both his professional and personal lives. He and Trenton together, in any of the many capacities this book provides, is the stuff of dreams. In fact, I think so highly of this character that I had a bit of difficulty as the story went on, picturing him tolerating Paris' antics and indecision. Paris was both more and less than a brat, and I couldn't help but feel his behaviour would be ultimately hurtful to a solid relationship. He wanted, but he didn't. He committed, until it didn't suit him. It seems he can't decide, or more likely, admit, who he is and what he wants, and until he settles into that role, in writing, I have a dearth of sympathy for him. I assume (hope) this is but a lead-up to a Come-to-Diesel moment...which is a pretty epic thought...
While the growing and struggling relationship consumes most of the first half of the book, there is a great deal of intrigue in the story as well, particularly in the latter half. Here is where the past of The Brotherhood comes back to haunt them, and the future of it is left in serious question. There are some pull your hair out moments and much cursing of Muses as this volume draws to it's conclusion, because "cliffy" doesn't even *begin* to cover it. And as much as I usually hate cliffhangers, this one makes sense. It makes so much more of the lives of the characters and enriches the series well beyond the individual relationships. It gives, not so much new life, but enhanced life to an already rich series.
