Product Description

The Blyss Trilogy characters come back to life in the Undaunted Men Series. If you were enamored and intrigued by Quinn in Blyssfully Undone - he will surely steal your heart in this duet. Quinn is everything an alpha male should be - with a sweet side that'll melt your panties off. The question is...can you handle the heat?
Explicit scenes, unexpected twists full of suspense and off the grid angst which skirt along the edges of the dark side will make your heart pound, your pulse race, and the pages flip. And...be prepared to be thrown over a damn cliff.

It is not necessary to have read The Blyss Trilogy in order to read Quinn's Duet, but it's highly recommended.
Fearless and determined, Quinn is the perfect man for the job the Moretti mob has in mind: track down missing mafia princess, Alexis Moretti, and bring her home.

What starts out as a simple task to repay an old debt turns into so much more than he bargained for... And so does she.

As Quinn and Lexi grow close, she becomes more than just his mission. But Lexi and Quinn are both keeping secrets--secrets that could destroy their blossoming romance just as quickly as it ignited. When Lexi's past catches up with them, secrets and lies will be revealed, and the ultimate test of forgiveness will be upon them both.

*Join Quinn and Alexis as their story unfolds in two full-length contemporary erotic romance novels. Quinn II will release April 19th!

CLIFFHANGER WARNING - You know you have a love/hate relationship with a good cliffhanger in a book, but if you've read my previous books, you are no stranger to this simple fact. This book contains dark and disturbing themes, and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers. Perfect for fans of and customers who also bought items by:

From the 1st chapter I was drawn right in, wanting to know the story behind the main characters and what brought them to this point in their lives.
I just cannot get this book out of my head! I've met a few alpha males before but Quinn is just in a league of his own. He's the complete package: He's Ex military, a protector, attentive, has a body made of sin & knows his way around a woman's body & the deep depths of the wilderness.
To quote Alexis:
"There is something so indescribably sexy about a man being able to survive in the wilderness and provide for his woman".
Throw in the fact that his bestfriend is and Ex Military trained dog called Kimber & you will be so moved at the bond they share & what both would do for eachother no matter what the circumstance.
Get ready for a wild & steamy adventure that will have you wanting more!

2.0 out of 5 stars Nope. 8 April 2016

Review for Quinn (Undaunted Men #1) by J.C. Cliff

This is my first by J.C. Cliff, after the synopsis and the cover I was really excited to read this book. I love military men and ex-military men who do dangerous and/or exciting things. In theory, I love female characters that need a little rescuing. So, Quinn should have been the perfect book for me, but it fell short so many times that I had to force myself to finish all the way to the cliffhanger end. (I'm not upset about the cliffy, I knew it was one before I started reading it.)

Purple prose isn't something I hate. It has a time and a place. It doesn't match Quinn's personality one bit and that man practically bled purple. I found myself rolling my eyes repeatedly. I thought for sure he was going to be one of those alpha jerks turned alpha possessive of his lady...instead he went from alpha jerk to syrupy sweet with a bit of deceptive alpha.

Alexis made me want to stab myself. Strange man finds you in the woods and he instantly makes you feel safe? After you've been sent on the run because bad guys have bad ideas about what they wish to do to you...really? And what is the problem that you're running from exactly? Your horse is your whole world? Your dad is a man to be feared and powerful, yet instead of going to him when you're in trouble you decide to run? Into the Appalachian Mountains, when you have no clue what you're doing or how to survive? At least you remembered to pack your vibrator. I mean, masturbation is definitely something you should be thinking about when you secret yourself away to save your life.

See where the desire to stab came into play?

Needless to say the characters left something to be desired. The plot could have been great, but it is full of holes. And even though I forced my way through it and it definitely ends in a cliffhanger, I have no desire to read the second book. So many people seemed to love the book, in this case I'm the exception not the rule.

Two Stars.

This is a story of two morally bankrupt characters. I did not enjoy the story and don't have a problem giving a low rating to a story I did not enjoy. Needed editing help and is very poorly written.

FYI: Cliffhanger alert.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for me 14 April 2016
By Stephanie likes books - Published on Amazon.com

This book started out by drawing me in and making me interested in what would happen, but by the end, just no. The writing style just does not work for me. The way they talk and some of the scenes are just inconsistent with how the H's personality comes across the rest of the time. I don't care enough about the outcome to read book 2.

1.0 out of 5 stars DNF @ 40% 14 April 2016
By Amanda L. - Published on Amazon.com

What drew me to this book is the underlying mafia theme. Quinn is suppose to go save a mafia princess, Lexi who is on the run. He was hired by her father and was told that she is pregnant and to bring her back no matter what it cost.

Lexi's problem is something I can't really wrap my head around. She thought she murdered someone? And she was on the run into the middle of a forest without knowing any survival skill because someone taught her to. Can't deny she can be a brave chick. But I wonder how long can she last if Quinn didn't appear.

I wish there is more actual mafia plot going on and more suspense, but the first half of the book is about Quinn and Lexi traipsing around the forest and getting close. We are treated to some Survival Skill 101. They don't talk much on the actual issue because both of them are trying to hide their real identity.

And as for someone who thought the woman was knocked up, Quinn was pretty touchy feely with the said woman, sharing a sleeping bag together and etc. I thought he will be more hands off in this situation. There are some moment of hotness, but when I think of their status, I feel like being doused by a bucket cold water. I can't wait for them to actually leave the freaking forest and go back into real life to face some real issue. I skimmed to 50% and they are still playing Tarzan and Jane and I gave up.

I read this book. I didn't like it. The Hero was a jerk and the heroine a weak who runs a way and the first thing she packs is the vibrator? and I didn't like how the author bashed a blogger calling her a bi*** and sending her fans to flag the blogger on goodreads. The author should be ashamed of herself. If you can't take criticism don't write. not everyone is going to like your books.
