It reports a nice antology of quantum physics with a deepening of basic issues.
Strongly reccomended as guideline for the transition from undergraduate student
to graduated student profile. Useful antology also for experts, it can help to recall
topics outside the own specific expertise.
Please note that I have mainly used chapters 6 and 7, which focus on the solutions of the Schrödinger equation for simple potentials and the hydrogen-like atom. But the content of said chapters alone is enough, in my opinion, to justify the price! It goes into great depth with derivations and discusses the finer points of the resulting equations. The section devoted to the intuition behind the shapes of the energy eigenfunctions was particularly good!
Unfortunately, it does not provide solutions to all of the many problems in the book, and so one star was deducted.
