Camera was easy to install but it was a bit of challenge to get it to work with the monitoring software. I downloaded and installed the QC View applet on both an Apple iPhone and a Samsung Tab 4 tablet. Both talk well with the Q-See wireless camera via my wireless network. I can view the live preview as well as playback recordings from the camera's installed micro SD card. The camera is installed about 40 feet from my wireless router and I get a consistent, good quality image.
The sole problem I have encountered is that the latest web-based QC View running under Windows does not work at all under the Windows 10's Edge browser or under Mozilla Firefox, even after downloading the web extension that is indicated once the applet tries to load. Calling tech support I was told it would run properly under Internet Explorer 10, but my version of Windows 10 has IE11 installed and the applet won't run on it even in compatibility mode. I did get it to run under the Google Chrome browser but only after a lot of work.
I am not currently using the camera with a network video recorder (NVR), but am pleased enough that I will be buying a second camera along with their NVR.
