I bought this book because im a bit of a horror freak. the first chapter was promising, but then came the errors and it made the book unreadable. i recommend you wait until the errors are fixed.

My First Visit into Horror.Reviewed in the United States on 6 September 2013
So this is what I have been missing. I have a huge library of murder mystery, and Serial killers. It seems I have a lot of catching up to do, because this was one of the best books I have read in a long time! I have not read any horror since I was a kid, and then that was just Steven King. The older King. This book has it all! It is not for the squeamish though, some parts I actually had to take a break because I got a little nauseous. Really good book though!

This was definitely a pleasure to read. The killer is viscious and of course the way the story unfolds ends up being quite profound. The only thing that I am going to have to point out as being a tad disappointing is that I have now completed 4 full length novels from Wrath. Succulent Prey being my first introduction to his writing I have come to notice that none of White's subsequent stories since his debut seem to include as much development into our killer's upbringing and motivations. Also noted, there is not nearly the amount of gore in his more recent outings as his debut. That is not to say the material is not disturbing and graphically violent in places. This is still the nastiest of what I've had the pleasure of absorbing. But to true grue and gore fans such as myself start with the anty so high, and to continually lose that aspect more and more since then is a little worrisome... however there is also a very distinct possibility that after four Wrath novels in a row, I might just very well have been even more thuroughly desensitized, which would contribute to my inscreasing tolerance... In either way, this guy truly is the best in the business right now for extreme horror. Thanks again for another fantastic release!

Started out fantastic but lost momentumReviewed in the United States on 15 June 2013
This book started with great energy but I thought that it kind of bogged down as the book progressed but I did enjoy it.
