Product description

Product Description

Crochet pattern to make 7 little animal dolls: a bunny, puppy, bear, cat, ducky, frog and piglet.

The dolls are very easy to make: this is one of the easiest patterns and great for beginners.

A basic knowledge of crochet stitches is required.

Size: the dolls are 2.4 inches/ 6 cm high (excluding ears).

For materials you can use:

1) No 2 yarn (Sport, Baby). I used Catania from Schachenmayr SMC (white, black, green, brown, pink, dark, pink, red, peach and yellow).
2) 3.00 mm hook
3) Black and white embroidery floss
4) Polyester fiberfill
5) 6 pairs of 6mm safety eyes or other eyes as desired
6) 3 white 7mm buttons for cat eyes and pig snout
7) 2 black 5mm beads for frog’s eyes
8) Tapestry needle
9) Sewing needle and thread for attaching cat eyes
10) Pins

(These materials are not included).

Disclaimers:

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, easy to follow 21 December 2012

So far I have made two patterns from this book and plan to make them all. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and they work up fast. Since they all have the same body, once you have made one the next one goes much faster, with just a few variations it is a different animal. Highly recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars fun 6 September 2013

Just time to play. Small animal projects are fun as you get a finished project fairly quick. Of course unless you 're sewing the eyes , you have to be careful to not let small children have them as the plastic eyes can be removed. And the size of the eyes,in my area of location, are not that easy to find. Still over all fun to make.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute animals 21 October 2013

This pattern is cute, but the format is a little hard to get used to. Most amigurumi is based on a "magic ring" or a circular pattern. These are not. Most patterns refer back to the first one in the book, so you flip back and forth a lot.

great patterns to crochet for children for ages three and up. My 15 and 16 year old grand children loved them. The pattern doesn't take a lot of yarn and time to make and I used safety eyes for their faces.
