I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my review.
Another absolutely fantastic story by Charmaine Ross I loved it. It’s a new world earth is covered in water and most of the humans died but the ones that didn’t got strange new abilities. Daisy looked like she didn’t have any so she was treated very badly by her tribe, Daisy was going to be killed but a winged man Volar saves her he believes that she can find a cure for the female’s in his tribe but is she the saviour that he believes she is?. Fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Product Description
I was born a nothing. A waste of life. I didn’t mutate on maturity and now I am morph bait. I exist and wait to die at the whim and fancy of our tribe’s cruel leaders.
But when Volar, the King of the Winged abducts me from certain death, my world and everything I believe in is shaken to the core.
He harbours a secret. He thinks I’m ‘The One’. The saviour of humanity from a prophecy written before the Great Waters flooded the Earth and he wants me to not only save his people from the terrible disease wiping out all of the tribes, but his beloved sister.
He also wants me with a deep passion I can’t even begin to comprehend, for a reason I can’t possibly understand.
I have to ignore it. To give in to my desires would endanger myself, my friends and my existence. I have to try and persuade Volar to save my friends back in my tribe before the leaders kill them. Volar is my only chance.
Can I resist the temptation?
