**it's essential to read book 1 first.
Property of Drex, book 2, is essentially a love story, but definitely not your sunshine, lollipops and rainbows type. It's also full of violence, is quite draconic and is not at all PC. But, wow what a terrific story (both books 1 and 2).
The two main characters are Drex and Eve. They meet in a most unconversational way, in book one and quickly connect. Drex marks Eve as 'his' and she is more than willing.
This book continues with the second stage of their journey, but Eve has become more ballsy and Drex has fallen madly in love with her. However, Drex is not the type of man to come home every night after work or mow the grass on weekends, and Eve has come from a struggling, but seemingly normal background. How will the two merge their opposing worlds?
BTW, don't read either book if you are uncomfortable with stories featuring ultra-alpha-male behaviour and females who are regarded as property and toys. Both books are edgy, dark and have the feel of an ancient viking-like story in a modern-day setting, with the new-age marauders being an MC group. The subplot contains lots of action, twists and intrigue as The Death Dealers battle their foes, to maintain their position of power and supremacy as well as survival. And for Drex, the prize of his 'princess' Eve.
If this genre is your thing, or you just like to step-out into a totally fictional experience like me, then these 2 books are a fantastic read. Clever, well-written, perfect flow and good character development - there's even humour. Both books have all the elements of a totally engaging read.
Maya and Axle's story is next, where some unanswered questions and untied threads from book 2 will carry us into book 3, as the series continues.
