After having it for 3 months now I can confirm it was a great purchase. I use it almost daily and was blown away by how good it is for the price.
The picture quality is not amazing, it’s grainy and it’s even a little out of focus around the borders but once you’re watching your content, you really don’t even notice. I’ve been happy enough with this that I haven’t upgraded it. The reasons I might upgrade is so I can get a better image and a projector that is a little quieter.
The sound of the fan is louder than I expected and considering I use it at night with the volume low so as not to wake my room mate, this is reasonably annoying.
For the price though, you can’t go wrong.
I'm going to use it for my next team meeting this month.
I also connect it to my lap top when giving presentations.
The picture quality is excellent which is important when showing the fine detail of maps and other material.
More importantly Scouts runs from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at night and in Summer it is not very dark at 7.00pm. The projector work excellently even when there is light in the room and does not depend on total darkness to work.
It was a great unit especially considering how cheap it was to buy. It cost less to buy the new projector that I was quoted to replace the projector lamp in the old projector.

But anyway, on to the review of the abox t22.
All in all for what this is and that being a 480p projector, it really is a great option in this category. Dare I say the best option in this category!
So let's start with the pros and the things that has going for it... this projector states 2400 lumens. I'm assuming that has to be Chinese lumens and while it wouldn't hold up to the ANSI lumens it is brighter than any other projector I've tried in this category. It Rivals my projector that claims 3200 lumens and may actually be brighter. It is definitely bright enough to watch in a room during the daytime if you have relatively good light-blocking curtains pulled, in fact all of the pictures I added are on a sunny afternoon with my curtains drawn. Of course I do have blackout curtains. But there is actually more light in the room than the pictures portray.
Also the projector super easy to use and hook up. Has a fantastic remote control, feels good and solid, and is easy to use. It has a lens cover that is attached so you can't lose it. And The colors are bright without being oversaturated.
Here are some stats about sizes for anyone that wants to know how much room they need to get a certain screen size. All screen sizes will be diagonal just like a regular tv would be.
1.5 m or 5ft- 42 inches
7ft- 64 inches
8ft- 73 inches
Now I did go all the way up to 140 inches which was roughly 14 ft away from the screen and its doable, however you do start to lose clarity and it may not be enjoyable to some. But it does even at that distance stay bright and have the ability to be seen even with the lights on.
Just to let you know I would plan on staying in the 8 to 9 ft. range for getting the largest but most enjoyable screen visually. That is where it is starting to get where the pixels can be seen a little bit but aren't distracting to watch. All of the photos I took are at the 10ft-94 inch screen size.
Now how about the speakers? They are surprisingly loud! I never had the sound above 55-57 and it was more than loud enough to hear and be able to understand what was being said. Also this projector is very quiet!!! And with the sound on I never noticed the fan.
As for gaming on it I play COD ww2 on it and don't notice any lag in the controls. Makes it nice and easy to see things being that it's so large.
Also they're customer service is awesome. They contacted me via email to make sure I was happy with the projector and just to confirm the wans't anything they needed to do for me.
As far as 480p protectors go....you can't go wrong with this one! As long as you understand what it is....you will be more than happy with it!
Update. The company has been emailing me offering me money to change this review.... What kind of company is this? "Penny" offered me 70 buck to change this to a 5 star. Now she says a week later that her boss "severely punished her" bc I haven't.... Just wow.
Updating the previous review. Customer service team reached out to me and sent a replacement unit without additional charge. Appreciate them for backing their product. The new one is powering up without any hassle. Overall, for the price, it is a good projector (you cant really compare high end projector features with this one).
Very light weight
Reasonable connectivity options
Reasonably bright for semi lit conditions, don't plan to use it in bright light or daylight.
Inbuilt basic sound, no distortions
Very loud noise.
While video quality is acceptable for price, native resolution is much lower than 1080. Don't expect small text from laptop to show up. Still OK for PowerPoint Presentations and Watching movies causally.
I am not going into colors etc as the unit is an entry level projector.
No longer powering up. Control lights keep blinking but the projector is not turning on. Wastage of Money
