With this novel the teenage-daughter of Jonathan and Faye Kellerman dares her first publishing-steps together with her quite successful mother. In this she tries herself on a genre that isn't her mother's forte - the parallel-universe-SF-novel.
Thre teens come after an accident into another universe where people don't subsribe to the idea of treating illnesses. Soon they are in some trouble and some rebels try to win them for their cause.
An interesting dystopian novel. One might want to question some aspects of the story-premises, but if one is prepared to suspend one's disbelief, the book is quite entertaining and the interviews in its back are quite informative concerning the authoresses and the creative process. It will be interesting to see Aliza Kellerman's first "solo-flight".
