Another hit from Lori King! Loved this read!
Payton has been through the ringer. The career she thought was for keeps has been snatched out from under her by an IED. To come to terms with her life and PTSD she has to spend time at Crawley Creek Ranch. Luke is a full time veterinarian and a single father to a teenager, he has his work cut out for him! i live the quote “I’m a serial killer with a penchant for wearing the skin of teenage boys.” I had to giggle at that and could imagine the look on Ricky's face...priceless!
Lori has written this story with sympathy and sincerity. I recommend this book totally

Good story, it is getting drawn out now. A lot of unfinished stories lines , getting a little boring, will not buy this author again , don’t like splitting off in other books to find out what happens next... plus found a little expensive for what you were getting
I'm as mad as hell!!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 February 2017
So the author decided to stretch out the ending of this series yet again and sometime in 2017 she will release another book and split the story with another series called Storm Corps. Well that's it I'm done waiting for the answers and solutions to what's been going on in Crawley Creek. I'm finding it's gone on for so long I don't really care anymore. I for one won't be buying another book by this author.

I've been waiting for Payton's story and was not disappointedReviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 February 2017
I loved the storyline, it's unusual as it focuses on a female veteran and on her ptsd, how she interacts with her family, her new community and how she feels about herself. One must remember it is a work of fiction and therefore the timings are sped up but does not detract from a throughly enjoyable read. I am looking for work to Lori's new series which will pick up Payton's story

This is a great continuation of this fan series. I was looking forward to Payton's story. After all she suffered through she deserved her HEA. And Luke is such a great character. So understanding and patient. They are great together. The story flows nice, couldn't put it down. Can't wait to see what's next for the Crawley crew.
